Many will blame this on Ole and our failure to make top four but the truth of the matter is the players who want to leave were too shit to get us top four either because they weren’t good enough or they didn’t give a shit or because their heads were too far up their own arses.
If we had anything about us at the executive level we’d have never signed mercenaries like Lukaku and Pogba in the first place and never caved into ridiculous demands from the likes of Fellaini and now De Gea and never held onto jokers like Jones and Lingard for half as long as we have.
If we weren’t run by bankers this summer would actually look like a massive opportunity for the club.
But the club structure is fecked and until it’s fixed nothing will change and it’s a damn shame that Ole may get dragged through the mud over it.
