Brazil's World Cup squad always contains an attacker who plays in Brazil and is absolute pony.

The top scorer in the Serie A is an Italian that is over the age of 30 and barely anyone in England has heard of them.

All left-footed players are great at scoring freekicks whilst simultaneously being shite at taking pens.

Feyenoord will never win a European match again (we play mighty Dynamo Tblisi tonight).

World class foreign players only have a issue with the weather and the north when moving to United. It’s not an issue when moving to Liverpool & City though

Despite playing them on the opening day, Liverpool will have at least 3 more home games against Norwich and will win them all 4-0.

I see that Scott Carson has signed for Man City, continuing to prove that any goalkeeper that gets capped for England will ultimately end up the third choice squad filler at one of the top four clubs.

United always have some incredible statistic that seems that it must have been broken in the past few seasons, but apparently hasn't.

For example today the analyst mentioned that United have never lost at OT when leading at halftime. Feels like that's happened at least 10 times since Fergie!

Or Burnley (Hart, and didn't Robinson go there at one point?)

At some point in the last two years, Swansea, Derby, and Leeds all became the same team.

Every time a La Liga player renews his contract, he has to get linked with United first.

For the last 4 years Pedro has always been about 31 years old and having the odd good game for Chelsea, but generally just doing some turns and passes to little effect.

City always attack the left hand side of their own stadium

Bournemouth lose 4-0 every week but still finish 9th

Michael Mancienne is still at Chelsea but no-one is quite sure where.

Adama Traoré turns up at some random Premier League team and plays out of his skin against us or similar stature team, everyone says he’s a La Masia product and therefore he’s automatically good, then fecks off into the wilderness for a year and resurrects at some other club to rinse and repeat.

My moneys on Newcastle in a years time.

In the same vein: Our left back always struggles against an otherwise unremarkable winger. Lennon comes to mind, who had Evra on toast for what felt like half a decade.

From 2004 to 2013 Wayne Rooney was 24 years old until the point Fergie left and he turned 30.

After being 30 for several years he suddenly turned 36 in 2018, played in America for a few years and then signed for Derby County aged 33.

There is always an academy player from the big 4 sides that has a ridiculous large (fro or dreads) hair. They show certain glimpses in the beggining but end up disappearing/hibernating and re-surfacing 3 years later with slightly less ridiculous hair in a club like Bournemouth. Then half of them disappear again, and other half of them have decent careers.

A poor clearance by a goalkeeper (one that stays in play) always leads to a goal.

Argue about who takes a penalty and its missed.

Also we havent scored a decisive away penalty in the league since Rooneys league winner in 2011.

Panathinaikos and Olympiakos are the same team and always have at least 1 player who used to be a talent in the Dutch league who went on to disappear.
