Every single fanbase, including those of the best, most successful teams in world football, view their team as being “ever obliging”.

In late 2020 the top knot would inexplicably make a comeback, but only amongst thick northern chavs ‍♂

Football drastically changed from 05/06 to the 06/07 season
Yeah that was the out with old in with new transition.
That's also why the 2006 World Cup was so good. So many legends playing together at the same time, the old legends and the new ones. Today it's hard to imagine that the likes of Beckham, Ronaldo, Figo, Zidane, Raul, Van Nistelrooy, Ronaldinho and Henry played at the same tournament with the likes of Ronaldo, Messi, Van Persie and Zlatan.

Malaga, Mallorca and Granada are either challenging for and playing in European competitions in La Liga, or in the bottom half of the Segunda, no inbetween.

Abdoulaye Doucouré and Ibrahima Konaté are both full Mali internationals.

Real Mallorca hasn’t existed since Eto’o, Finidi George and Carlos Roa played at the club.

Rayo Vallecano had one season of existence and have never had an outfield player (despite the sash kit with the wasp on the front being iconic). Kasey Keller is the only player who has represented the club.

Espanyol’s goalkeeper is still Carlos Kameni.

Since joining Chelsea, Giroud has actually scored in every game he starts, but managers still don’t select him.

There is a rule that only one team with an orange home kit can be in the PL at a time so Wolves and Hull have been time sharing since the mid 2000s.

All the teams with red and white stripes whose name starts with S have also been time sharing since the 1990s and all play dull football. The one exception is Southampton in the odd season where they mix things up and switch out the stripes for a red shirt with a sash or pinstripes.

Bolton Wanderers were liquidated in 2010 and Burnley is their phoenix club.

After winning the FA Cup, Wigan did a Wimbledon and moved the franchise to Brighton.

Started off well but downhill after that.

For instance Southampton and Sheffield United are both in league and have been for a season and a half if I'm not mistaken.

Wolves have given up buying any non-Portuguese players.
I dont blame them, they probably bought 4 or 5 players on the price we were qouted on sean longstaff and their whole squad on declan rice/harry maguire price tag

Two red and white stripe S teams is the allotted number in a single PL season. No more, no less.

We all think City will crumble when their owners go, or Liverpool will when Klopp goes, but the truth is that Wolves are the team who would crumble the most at a single individual leaving their payroll - and that's that agent!

Wes Brown wasn't part of the treble side. I always associate him with the other era (2006-2011).

When you tune in late to a game that has a lot of goal, no other goals or incidents will occur.

Brazilian “wonder kids” have a much higher flop to success ratio than wonder kids from other countries, with only around 1 in 20 actually carving out a successful career. 10 in 20 put on more pounds in the next 5 years of their career than they make competitive appearances in Europe, before returning to Brazil aged 25 with the lung capacity of an 82 year old.

When you tune in late to a game after seeing on livescore that our rivals struggle, fully expect a 90min winner by the likes of Jordan Henderson or fernandinho.

Andy Carroll never played for Liverpool, he was loaned to West Ham for a number of years and then returned to Newcastle

MLS cup winners are always the teams with no star player
If by star, you mean big name, this is just true in modern MLS, not a weird feeling. Teams that go for massive past-it names tend to be ones with rich but stupid ownership. Most of the dominant MLS teams in recent times use their Designated Player spots on young, South American talent.

Wayne Rooney broke his metatarsal at Euro 2004 and in the lead up to World Cup 2006 - basically ending any chance of the ‘golden generation’ winning anything.

No player since has ever had a metatarsal injury.

Jay Rodriguez only exists to come on in the 80th minute against Manchester Utd after returning from a long spell on the sidelines.

Only strikers and wingers wore Nike Vapors.

Every footballer tucked their shirt in up until 2004.

Teams in green kits are automatically banned from the top flight in English football.
