Dave undeniably dropped form dramatically over the course of two seasons, but in his final season he actually quite decent -- decent enough to the point where Dave in his last season was vastly superior to Onana in either of his two seasons with us.
De Gea needed replacing, but I maintain Onana is our worst ever signing (and that’s quite the accolade given our recent history). £45m, third most expensive keeper of all time… on loan at Trabzonspor in the space of 2 seasons.

English and Dutch is very similar in many ways, but the pronunciation of names of Belgian/Dutch football players is almost always wrong
De Bruyne for instance, it's not even close what pundits say and what you hear in the stadium.

Maybe even Lommuns. I hear no "w" or like a lo sound if that makes sense.

To me, it looked like there were some aimless punts at times but I don’t think anyone is denying he’s a massive upgrade over the last two incumbents so far. Happy to be wrong if the kicking is tactical but like Danny boy was trying to say, some kicks were to areas which had no United player close to win a second ball. Don’t think there’s anything wrong in forwarding that suggestion as an area to improve on.

Just heard his interview on the BBC. Seems very focussed and pragmatic. Most importantly he seems to be really enjoying his football and knows he is privileged to play for Man Utd. Looks to me like the goalkeeper we’ve been waiting for !
