We should see about getting Rodrigo Muniz from Fulham. He lost his starting spot this season to Raul Jiminez so maybe Fulham would be willing to sell. He will be 24 in May and he is big enough to lead the line, and I think he is a really good!

It has to be Kolo Muani on loan, PSG’s manager doesn’t rate him. He’s familiar to play in the 3421 system at Frankfurt so it’s worth a try for loan move.
Developing strikers for Brighton - how depressing
Real slim pickings out there at the moment. Would David be gettable / worth rolling the dice on? I think his contract is up in the summer so maybe there'd be a deal to be done there.

Cunha for the left 10 position is the dream for me. 60m euros if we’re going by Neto’s price.

Joa Pedro from Brighton is pretty good and something we should be looking at. We missed the boat on him, Cunha and Ollie Waktins, any three of them would improve us significantly. Best option would be to get Watkins as a ST and Cunha or Pedro as left CAM for our formation they would easily fit in as part of front three easily. Sell Zhirkee in Jan and then Hojlund in summer.
If they ain't on the level of Benzema or Drogba, don't waste the cash.
We didn’t miss the boat on Cunha, we were linked with him and no one on the CAF wanted him (not that signing him is dependent on us but still)
Brighton are in horrendous form, but still, probably will feel they are chasing an european spot, Villa are chasing CL spot, and Wolves trying to avoid relegation. None of these clubs will let their main strikers or Cunha go in January, unless you're talking about FIFA 25 here, nor should we still be stupid enough to offer sort of money that would make them consider it.
Cunha is also close to renewing according to reports, but if he's got ambition in him, it's probably going to be with release clause or gentlemans agreement, that Wolves will let him go in summer.
What about Vlahovic, who’s contract is up the season after next.

Wrong OP. We don't need any "affordable" striker sorry. We already have two of them, Hojlund and Zirkzee and we aren't out of the water to say the least. While Hojlund has some potential, Zirkzee is an absolute disaster. At least an affordable disaster. We need a classy striker, like Osimhen. But we don't have the money. Case closed.
Mbeumo would be great for the right inside forward role if he's gettable. Vlahovic has been living off his Fiorentina purple patch for years.
Couldn't imagine Ipswich letting him go in January when they're in the midst of a relegation battle. If they were to go down, could be a cheap option in the Summer.
Ollie Watkins is already 29. Not the end of the world but Villa would want 60m for him in my opinion. Not the best use of our budget

They'll try their absolute best to hang onto him even then. If you look at Ipswich's business in the summer, it's clear they assessed their squad and planned their signings around the strong possibility that they'd be relegated and need to come straight back up.
Young Championship attackers aren't cheap anymore. Rutter cost Brighton £40m after 18 months in the division. Now imagine he was a genuine PL-proven centre forward at a time there aren't many of those, throw in English tax, and possibly some lingering United tax. He also cost Ipswich £20m a short moment ago, will have 4 years on his contract, and - to top it all off - City have a buyback. Nobody (reliable) is sure exactly what the price of that is, but it's another added layer of complication, given they never replaced Alvarez.
Well we seem to be always late to the party. Remember the Mane links, nobody wanted him here and he exploded once we went to Liverpool and rest was history. Cunha destroyed us in the one Nil win against them last season.
My point was we have missed out on signings these players (Pedro when he was signed from Watford for reasonable amount) similarly Cunha should have been signed last summer. Obviously it would be difficult to sign them but we need atleast one forward, sell Zhirkee and try to get somebody in now.
Pedro was amazing against us this season and whenever I have watched him he looks handful with excellent technical ability, pace, dribbling and hold up play.
Yeah I think we have missed a boat on these players I mentioned earlier. Now it would be difficult to sign, but either Cunha or Pedro is a must. They are both excellent players who would cost a lot but technically great players who will always contribute to the team even if they don’t score. Unlike our current forwards.
I didn’t know he came from city originally. I think it could turn out similar to how Hojlunds career with us is going. Still very young and not got enough goals to back up him starting for a top team that wants to challenge.

So the options seem to be osimhen, Vlahović or kolo muani, all likely on loan and Zirkzee and Rashford heading elsewhere either on loan or full transfer. Could see juve buying Zirkzee if they shift Vlahović, and saw Milan was interested in a loan deal for Rashford though that one doesn't make sense to me. They have Leao, Napoli have Kvara, so doubt they grab Rashford.

- Vlahović - arguable if he would truly improve on Hojlund, pretty average and not suited to the prem imo
Gyökeres... A year ago that guy was a mediocre Championship striker, went to the not so competitive portuguese league to have a finally good season at the age of 26. But... As we know the portuguese league isn't PL level at all. I could name at least 10 strikers who failed completely after moving from Portugal to England. Maybe more. Nunez, Jardel, Helder Postiga, and so on. But we don't have the funds for a serious signing anyway, and affordable strikers we have two already.
As I remember it, this site was awash with people clamouring for Mane to be signed.
Wrong Villa striker to be chasing if you ask me. Jhon Duran is going to be a star and Villa are rumoured to be looking for a sale.
