City or Liverpool Premiership champions this season

Liverpool possible Double winners.

City possible domestic treble winners

Spurs possible CL winners

Arsenal or Chelsea possible Europa League winners

Kohler, new sleeve sponsors for Man Utd

What a time to be a football fan.

Not a hint of sarcasm!

The bright side is we might have a chance to win or challenge for the europa league next season. It is a title and would be nice to win something again.

I fear though that few really good players want to join us now unless we pay crazy amounts of money.

We're the ONLY team from the top 6 with no title/trophy to play for at the end of the season. When was the last time 5 from the top 6 were in that position?

Title to be decided on the last day of the season and potentially all English Champions League and Europa League finals?? Thank feck the Quad is gone!

That's freaking insane!!

So the season could end this way:
Pep and City: Domestic treble + UCL Q.
Klopp and Liverpool: UCL title + UCL Q
Poch and Tottenham: UCL finals + UCL Q
Sarri and Chelsea: UEL finals + League cup finals + UCL Q
Emery and Arsenal: UEL title + UCL Q
Mourinho, Solskjaer and Man Utd: faffs around for whole season, finish 6th and play Europa next season.

Best case scenario.
- City win the league
- Spurs win the Champions League
- Liverpool win the 2nd place trophy

Worst case scenario.
- City draw vs. Brighton. Liverpool beat Wolves and win the league.
- Liverpool win the Champions League

Fecking scumbags our players, Liverpool's midfield is shite technically tbh but look at how ineffective they made Busquets, Rakitic and Vidal look? With Origi and Wijnaldum their match winners! What the actual FECK? Unbelievable
It's almost like it's just about players and not systems and tactics

The season was over before it began when Jose started moaning how terrible the season was gonna be, when his demand to bring in 30 year old Chelsea squad player Willian, for something like £65 million was refused, and his £80 million demand for Maguire was also refused, considering he had no interest in Maguire when he was available for £17 million just a year before.
His failed attempt to swap Martial for Alderweireld soured his mood even further.

Anyways at least he'll finally be at peace working with true world class talents Scott Brown and Scott Sinclair at Celtic next season.

I made my peace with Liverpool last night after their gutting yet astonishing comeback.I cant take anything away from them because I thought they were bloody amazing to put in that level of performance, more so with their injury troubles heading into the match.
If they were to go on and lift the PL or CL title, or even both, then fair play to them. They have actually gone about the shake-up of their club with such a level headed intelligence that it just makes a bigger mockery of the club I currently support, unfortunately.

I cant take the mickey out of them when we cant back it up from our side. It'll just be silly and ,frankly, desperate.
But then again I feel United are heading towards desperate times so maybe its apt.
Peace out.

It’s been my worst and most hopeless season in living memory. I’m so disgusted that I wouldn’t give a toss if all of our outfield players were sacked. The’ve been mentally torturing us all over the past 6 years, giving us a shed of hope only to down tools again at the most baffling of times. What makes it worse us they were all singing Ole’ praises themselves, probably until he brought the hammer down on them and started denying big contract renewals, worthy of title winning players. Contracts that Liverpool would be rightly dishing out to their lot. Our lot think that winning a few games on the trot is enough and it’s sickening.

What a amazing season, English teams showing finally their quality and ability to perform on the biggest stage. That's where they belong and I want them all be the strongest as possible - we have to aim to be better. The better our direct domedtic rivals are the better - so we could only be better and more hungry - aim higher. The domestic strenght should make us as club and players better.

If they would crumble from first rounds on like it was a few years ago, that would show the weakness of the top of the league.

At least we get to play a non-English team as our last game of the season. Can’t see any other PL team being able to say that!!!

Hope this really is the final straw for the board to completely revamp our club structure, surely they realize the club will lose popularity sooner or later if we keep finishing at 6th place

Wait, will Arsenal get Champions League football now even if they don't win Europa League?

Like feck they will, everyone and their dog knew that they needed to either back Mourinho or sack him in the summer, they did neither. They'll dither around with Ole for a season or too until getting rid of him too.

I genuinely think they only care about maintaining the club's financial value while paying off the debt and one day in 5-10 years time they'll sell and realise a profit.

I run a business myself and my biggest concern is the financials, everything else is secondary. If I were the Glazers and ran United I wouldn't really care much about success as long as the figures continued to be good.

2 or 3 more years of being crap and they will finally have to sell for a large profit because it'll be impossible to keep milking a failing club forever. 2 or 3 more years of being crap before we welcome the new owners and start a new era. We just have to withstand I guess. 2 or 3 more years, which means 2 more managers at least.

No...? They're fifth. They need to win the EL.
Woops! I read about a potential freak outcome of results that would mean the top 5 got Champions League qualification and assumed this was it. Why else would people be so downtrodden?! We don't want the fecking Gooners in the Champs League.

Only way a team outside top 4 gets CL qualification is by winning CL or EL.

It’s a fantastically shit season. The perfect storm of shitness. Although lets not pretend the Europa League is anything other than a second rate tinpot trophy. Felt the same when we won it. The one and only upside was CL qualification. Which means, with the season that’s in it, Arsenal are nailed on to win. Wait and see. No other outcome is possible.

Seasons like this are bound to happen. Our rivals will have put up with it for years. Portsmouth have won more than Liverpool and Spurs combined over the last 10 years. They’re due something.

We’re a spoilt lot. Move on.

We as fans have to stick together. It may get worse before it gets better but sticking by the club through the hard times is what it’s all about.

Maybe it’s the kick in the ass this club needs, seeing every other big club being ahead of us and competing for big trophies. If not well I will continue to support the club and be miserable on match days.

What makes it worse is we have to hope City win the FA cup so we don't have to play in qualifiers for this shite competition. In a way this situation sums up our season.
