The first music track I ever played over and over and over as a kid!
I was 8 or 9 when this came out and had listened almost solely to R&B that my dad loved or African gospel stuff from my mum.

I thought it was so cool. Had no idea Debbie Harry was like 55 or something when it came out.

For a comeback single after a long break and at 55 that was a good track. Because Blondie first got me into music I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for them.

Fergie's Backyard.
I just discovered a new band called Afflecks Palace. An obvious influence is the Roses. There's a hint of psychedelia. A late 80s early 90s sound, to my ears anyway. I hear a bit of The Twang, but that's probably shared influences rather than a direct influence (remember when they were hyped).

Takes me back to 1992/93 and my NOW That's What I Call Music compilation cassette.
