Oh well we should have sacked SAF in 1990 after his fourth season in charge then 11th, 2nd, 11th then 13th......
Was SAF in 1986 the equivalent of Ole in 2019? Whether you give time to a manager depends on who he is and how much faith you have in his abilities.

I look at supporting this ‘club’ nowadays akin to supporting a soulless corporation like IBM or Google. The owners and board care more about making money then actually playing winning football. I feel like the supporters loyalty is being taken for granted and abused. The Glazers know because of the brand strength, there will always be new supporters they can attract in emerging markets (USA/Asia) when the die hards become disillusioned with what’s occurring. We’re now supporting a corporation rather than a true football club. Quite sad.

Stupid question probably but in their heyday, did Liverpool have more supporters than us? The answer is probably yes but what happened to them all?
Post WW2 United have always been the best supported team in England, including the season we spent in Division 2 in 1974/5.

Doesn’t change the fact that it is true and isn’t really much of a counter argument to be honest!
Different eras with different expectations. We had been floundering for years with odd cup run, and despite your protestations SAF was nearly sacked because of how poor he was doing.

Hindsight is 20/20 but in reality Fergie was lucky he made us the force we are today rather than inheriting it because if it was the latter, he'd have been sacked in his 2nd season. He set the bar and the lowering of it just for the romantic idea of us unearthing the next Fergie is beyond stupid and detrimental to the club.

There's a reason there's never been anyone close to replicating what Fergie did for us. If it was as simple as giving a manager as much time as they needed to implement their style onto the club then we'd have the most competitive league in the world as every club would do it.

You can't keep comparing Solskjaer to SAF, it embarrassing even mentioning their names in the same sentence when it comes to managerial competence.

Under soil heating.
We are pretty good at sending out notifications on our official App tbf.

There's nothing I like more than receiving an alert on my phone just after watching us get battered again such as

'TARGET - who were our key men in orchestrating 27% possession'

'WATCH - Clayton Blackmore juggles 3 satsumas with 1 hand'

'SPEAK - hear the manager's thoughts on another loss'

Losing. Our team is very gracious when losing and never stirs up the pot.
