What should the expectations be for next season?

We can't set our expectations to be worse than this year? We will finish 3rd. The expectations next year surely must be better? 2nd or 1st? That's title challenging season.

For CL, with the new format we can clear the group stage at least.

For the domestic cups, play the fringe players and youngsters. Anything is a bonus.

The focus should be only on PL and CL.

3rd, but only because other teams around us had competing competitions.

It’s not about finishing position per se, but we should be competing for the league, if that’s us finishing 3rd or 4th but genuinely in the mix - that’s progress

We seem to be approaching the summer with the view that the attack we have is sorted for now, and as such - I can’t say the expectation would be much more than what we’ve done this season. The attack is not good enough, we have a collection of squad players. Sesko is young of course - but the rest, all similar levels I think.
