Right now Benzema.

I have find that even if Ronaldo leaves we can also play Tevez on the wing as he does for Argentina and still have a marvellous team.

-----------------DEFENCE---------------------
----------------CARRICK----------------------
-------------------SCHOLES-------------------
----NANI-----------------------------TEVEZ---
--------------ROONEY-------------------------
--------------------BENZEMA------------------

Eto'o / Benzema / Berbatov

If Ronaldo leaves add:

Sneijder / Messi / Kaka / Ribery / Arshavin

Good shout, but his vision is questionable. Still, he'd add more steel to the midfield and is capable of things which are quite frankly, out of this world. I do have to point out though, he's not always been the most loyal to his team in the past. He'd be off to Madrid in a few years.

David Villa, Eto'o, Benzema, Mario Gomez (Yes, really. He'll be back to his best next season), Aguero.

Arshavin if we had a space for him (Ronaldo leaving)

Yes, just 1 ;)

Although this is a stupidly-greedy themed thread. So I could just as easily say all of them, plus Messi and Kaka.
Good, I was going to say!

Ii'd be happy with either one of Villa, Berbatov, Eto'o.

If Ronaldo leaves I'd like to see us go for Ronaldinho or Sneijder.

Geordie land keeping the Red Flag flying high
Ronaldiniho, Richards, Arshavin, Berba

--Richards---Rio---Vida---Evra--

----Hargro---Ander/Carrick--Scholes

------Rooney----Ronaldiniho-------

-----------Berba-----------------

Subs - Foster, Nani, Arshavin, Scholes, Giggs, Tevez, Brown

Ronnie would provide width on left and playing in evra at every oppurtunity and hargreaves would provide width on right. If we still lack width Nani or Arshavin can come on for one of the CM and we can switch to 442 with Rooney and berba up top with ronnie playing as v attacking winger

i want Ronaldo to go, and have a similar time at Real as Beckham.

and i desperately want us to sign -

David Villa - this man is PERFECT for us. he takes his chances, he plays on the floor, good feet, direct, good heart.

Messi - the most naturally gifted footballer on earth. the unltimate replacement for Scholes. imagine a Messi, Anderson/Carrick/Hargreaves partnership...

Robinho - get him with the Ronaldo deal. i've always liked him.

i'd be happy as fecking pie with that.

Has had a dreadful tournament so far but I'd take him ahead of Berbatov no doubt about that.

I would sign Messi to replace Ronaldo and also sign a striker of world class ability like David Villa or potential ability of Alexandre Pato. A midfielder to eventually replace Scholes would be handy so maybe Kaka or Sneijder. And then throw in Aguero or Arshavin as a backup.

So
1. Messi
2. Villa or Pato
3. Kaka or Sneijder
4. Aguero or Arshavin

If only it was this easy.

If Ronnie goes, obviously Messi. If he stays, then Benzema/Torres would make us fecking complete.

It baffles me how people say they don't want Berbatov because of his agre or the fact that he is 'lazy', when Ibrahimovic is just 1 year younger and is probably the most laziest player on the planet.
