De Ligt not part of training panel, one of the most mysterious injuries with no clear messages coming out to what's going on.

All reports are now hinting its back issues. The problem is they cant figure out what exactly is wrong. Its incredibly similar to Rio. They still havent figured out what's wrong with Rio, he still has episodes where he gets hospitalized.

So as feared, the break led to us looking sluggish and rusty for the first half tonight. One of the worst halves from us I have seen all season. Hard to know how much of it is down to lack of match practice, but I really dont understand why we didnt organise some friendlies during the break - even if behind closed doors.

Also on a tactical level, Leeds set out with basically the Amorim system. The same system we have seen get brutally exploited and torn apart for much of the last 18 months. How is it that in 22 days we were unable to come up with a good strategy to nullify and exploit it ourselves? Disappointing one for Carrick and his team, that.
