Also predicted Højlund to be a expensive flop, so that's at least two. Just ask if you want to learn a thing or two about how to spot a good striker.

:lol: Spent some time digging now, have we? This "might" have been said in disappointment and frustration over him choosing City over United at the time, if context matters... And I still think he'd look better in a different system than Pep's.

Mathys Tel looks like he could be on his way out of Bayern as they're not giving him enough game time. Not really the typical no 9 but his speed, hard running and athleticism might do well in Amorim's formation. If Amorim could unlock him, could be a potential world class player on our hands.

Good call, not like we need experience up top but another European young lad with experience, come on! We clearly need someone with experience even if it's something like a Jonathan David who is proved to score goals.

I think if we were going to go for someone with experience, we would've done so last summer instead of going for Zirkzee. David was available then, with 1 year on his deal and would've been cheaper than Zirkzee but we still didn't bite so what makes you think we will go for him now? I wouldn't be surprised if the club go for a young player again, there's still talk of Sesko so I don't see why Tel would be completely off the radar. I'm not saying we should go for a young player or he should be top of our list, I'm just highlighting that there's an opportunity to get a young striker who has tons of talent. He could also play as one of the 10s, similar to how they're using Garnacho.

Sesko scored a screamer on the weekend, however surprised no one has showed real interest

I think if anything I am more certain we need experience based off how the two younger lads have performed for us this season output wise. Sesko as great as he is has 7 goals in 16 games in a league whereby he plays for one of the most dominant teams in the league, David will be free and has 11 in 17 and regularly averages better than 1 in 2 whereas Sesko as great as he may well turn out hasn't had a season of 1 in 2 yet.
 
Isak or Duran. Hojlund should be sold. Potentially even both of them sold. But I’d take 45m for Hojlund if we can get it and move on.

The asking price is high for a reason. Hojlund and Zirkzee’s asking price was less for a reason. We’re here to build a winning team, not to win the balance sheet league.
