Who’s the penalty taker when/if Bruno, Pogba and Rashford are all fit?

Given the sort of hit and miss scenario we’ve had go on over Oles reign so far with penalties who do you think out of this 3 should be the taker?

I think previously Rashford had probably gazumped Pogba and was our main taker but with Bruno now in the fold I think I might have to side with Bruno.

Fernandes has 2/2 for us so I’m pretty sure we’ll let him keep taking them, his record overall is quite good. After Fernandes I’d let Rashford take them, I like his PK technique.

Bruno for sure. Happy with either him or Rashford taking them.

Bruno: 22/24
Rashford: 11/13
Pogba: 13/18

I think it's quite clear.

Fernandes while he's still on a scoring run surely? His record over his career is far better than anyone else we have in the team anyway. Pogba shouldn't really be anywhere near them. Rashford backup I guess, unless Mata is playing.

Possession is king but when he does that jump and misses one or two - I'd take Rashford all day long

Big call on Ole. I doubt that Rash will be happy about losing penalty duty. Imo, Bruno must stay no1 taker

Bruno should have first choice duty over every dead ball scenario. Apart from goalkicks. Unless he wants them too.

I expect Bruno will be until he misses one, or Rashy might take any that he wins.

Pogba wasn’t the main man prior injury, Rashford was.

I expect Bruno to continue though

Not Pogba, he's missed too many.

I feel relatively comfortable with any of Rashford, Bruno, Martial or Mata.

I miss the days of having a reliable penalty taker. Would kill for Ruud or Irwin like efficiency now.

Zlatan was good too. Rooney missed a fair few, Ronaldo missed a few too, although he seemed to improve at them at Madrid.

How dare you mention penalties and not mention Cantona.

I agree on Pogba, he's missed too many and he should be at the back of the queue now. Bruno's stupid jump annoys me, but if he keeps scoring let him keep taking them. Then Rashford or Mata.

Unfortunately the first season I remember watching was 97/98. I have no memory of The King :(

Cantona is the best penalty taker I've ever seen at Utd.

Not only did he always seem to score, it felt like it was never even close. He sent the keeper the wrong way almost every time.

Irwin, Van Nistlerooy and Ronaldo were good. Been pretty patchy since.

I'd have as the pecking order for Pens.

Bruno
Rashford
Martial

It’s pretty straight forward, Bruno is easily first choice.

After Bruno, I’d go Rashford, Martial, Pogba.

Not even a question, Bruno is by far and I mean by far the best penalty taker in United and if he’s on the pitch it should not even be a debate.

No way, Bruno is the far superior penalty taker and based on his track record should be first choice.

In terms of their ability I think it’s Bruno > Rashford > Pogba. It will probably be in that order. But I think strikers should be taking penalty to pad up their goals tally.
