We have a weird obsession with trying to shoehorn players into the team already, but sure stick someone in there who never played centre mid. That'll be the best call

That doesn't translate to Red Cards though, Case is a 100 times worse with his no scope slide tackles. Only thing I would be worried about is his height but having 3 CBs negates that too.
Playing CDM in the Prem is a totally different story to the Dutch league... It's better with Martinez coming back in at LCB releasing Shaw to be LWB.... that will have a big impact going forward and balances the team.
We should have bought Berge from Fulham for the 6 role...good value there. We just don't have a quality 6 in the squad or anything close. Maz maybe as a stop gap but these days nothing less than 80mio for a top quality young 6 means it's a next season question.
