Who do you think the good characters in our squad are?

None of us have any idea. We don't know what is happening behind closed doors. Anybody posting names is really just guessing/posting their favourites.
You might have no idea, but I believe I'm astute and perceptive enough to confidently say that Lingard is far more of a problem than Mata, for instance.

This take is lazy, sure we can't know 100% for sure, but many fans and supporters are quite good judges of character while others aren't. Football or not you always have disruptive behavior in groups be it negativity, 'giving up' mentality, throwing hissy fits or being extrovertly negative when things don't go their way, some of these things repeatedly a few of our players do devalues the amount of respect they ultimately enjoy from us fans. It's not a hard stretch to extrapolate where that comes from and how that affects others. You have basic characters that dig in facing adversity and come out like a pack of wolves and you have pathetic characters that focus on dabs, pathetic excuses, underwear, perfume and crap social media same day as a pummeling. True winners hate getting humiliated in a loss and rise up. They have an itch on the inside to do what's needed when it's needed. We have too many losers, mercenaries or smalltime mentality players. It's within every fans right to speculate on the shit we are served.

Strictly on character not ability:
De Gea
Varane
Lindelof
Dalot
AWB

Telles
Fred
McTominay
Sancho
Ronaldo
Cavani
Mata
Elanga
Bolded are probably nice guys but they are way too soft. We need to surround these players with some absolute leaders to have a chance at winning anything. De Gea is not a winner, one PL title (thanks to SAF and RVP) 10 years ago doesn’t change that.

Also, Varane has never been the main leader of his defence, he is far from Ramos, Van Dijk, John Terry type in that regard.

I agree. They're the best we have but we're a mile off having leaders like Keane, Rio, RVN etc.
