Keep a clean shit tomorrow, United is my final bus
He really wasn’t.

Kept running down blind alleys, was very one footed and did precisely feck all when he came on.

That said, he was better than Willian so maybe that’s tainting the praise.
I thought he was good. He was taking players on for fun and generally making things happen. He did really well against Belgium when he came on, I felt Brazil made a mistake not giving him the ball more later on, instead giving it to Neymar who tried to do too much, or Coutinho who was smashing shots at defenders for fun.

Perhaps. And I do agree there wasn’t much and product from him in the end. But, he was lively when he came on. And Brazil’s play certainly improved when he came on. He was willing to try beat the man and was creative.

My bad
I thought he went to Barcelona directly after the world cup.
No worries. Ronaldinho wasn't exactly an unknown quantity before the World Cup anyways. It's not a player I had in mind when thinking about "WC buys" because he was a highly sought after prospect before that point - I thought about the likes of Diouf or Kleberson who weren't that much on people's radar.

Paris Saint-Germain have won the race to sign Ronaldinho, the latest Brazilian prodigy.

The Brazilian international striker signed from Gremio for £5m on a five-year contract, commnecing from the 2001/2002 season.

The 20-year-old had been targetted by Lazio, Barcelona and Milan, but opted instead for first-team football in the French capital.

Ronaldinho, formally Ronaldo de Assis Moreira, came to global prominence after his displays in the Copa America in 1999, at which he finished the competition's top scorer with six goals, and during last year's Olympic Games in Sydney.

Costa is essential to Juve now to serve Ronaldo. You think Ronaldo would create chances on his own now?
They've got too many forwards as is with Huguain starting as a #9, Dybala playing on the right and Ronaldo on the left. They'll end up selling someone to buy another midfielder with Matuidi and Khedira getting older.

James was brilliant in the last game he played, also in hot form since January at his own club. I'm not sure what deal has been done with Madrid apart from the loan spell but why not try him. Only problem is it forces Pogba back to a midfield 2.

Can't see them playing both Higuain and Ronaldo in the starting XI. I would have first choice 3 up top as Ronaldo with Dybala and Costa either side. Ronaldo doesn't allow himself to be subbed, so I can see Higuain moving on and Mandzukic staying put.

Thought they had an option to buy of about £35m? Ridiculously cheap.

Golovin and Hirving Lozano. I'd imagine Yerry Mina and Pickford might have a surprise transfer lined up for them too after the World Cup.

If anything, its Higuain that will they ship out first. Sarri wants him on Chelsea going by reports.

Would like us to sign Mario Fernándes, the Russian RB. He stood out in every match I saw.
Wasn’t he the guy that torched luke Shaw and ended blind united career with that cross at old trafford?

He can play right mf and right back, great size, great work rate. I just think with his past life issues he’s indebted to Russia for his entire life and there’s no chance he will move.

Honestly think Man. United could do worse than Mario Fernandes seeing as you all want a new RB.

Aside from penalty taking, thought he was comfortably one of best RBs in tournament. Massively experienced in europe playing for CSKA Moscow, can defend, is reasonably quick and has nice cross on him that set up plenty of chances for Russia. 6ft + aswell which is ideal for Mourinho prototype FB.

Would imagine 15-20m would be more than enough.

Is it just me who doesn’t get the hype surrounding Pavard? I think he’s looked quite shaky at times, especially when isolated 1v1 against specialist wingers. He should’ve been sent off against Argentina, such was the tizzy Di Maria and co. sent him in.
He's a CB for his club but yes I agree with your analysis. Really struggled at start of second half v Argentina when Di Maria skinned him a few times and also gives away loads of free kicks.

Was a real fish out of water in that position first few games but settled down a bit, still a weak link for me.
