Ronaldo or De Gea, but the late surge in form gives it to Ronaldo.
The shouts for Fred are commendable but in the end laughable. Fred's contribution to United this season comes nowhere close to Ronnie's.

Yep. De Gea, Ronaldo and Fred are the top three in the fan's player of the year voting so far as well and you'd suspect Fred is a distant third.
With recent tragic events in his life I thought the players would give it to Ronaldo, plus he generally was top2 alongside de Gea this season, but it seems that players don't share much love for Ronaldo.
They are mediocre players with a mediocre mindset. Excellence and winning are alien to them.

Ronaldo was actually good this season. If we have a decent system next season we could be looking at the biggest bagger in the league again.
Pretty fitting that De Gea and Ronaldo split the awards. They were the only two candidates really but their own seasons weren't without flaws either.
Hopefully we finish next year with better performances to choose from.

Because the players player of the year is voted for by the players and the fans player of the year is voted for by the fans. It’s pretty self explanatory really.
