Really impressive from the youngsters so far - 2-0 up after 35 minutes. Norkett on a penalty and Musa just added the second alone with the goalkeeper.

Our team:: Harrison (16), Nolan(17), Munro,(15) Jackson(17), Kingdon(17) - Ibragimov(15), Scanlon(16), Fitzgerald(15) - Musa(16), Norkett(18), Lacey(15)

Seriously young side - only 4 players who are 17 or older.

So, this is what it feels like playing LB for the U18’s.

On a serious note, I’ve been very impressed so far. Lacey looks special. Harrison seems like a proper modern gk.

Lacey hype was real then. Only watched clips of him before shared by random twitter accounts.

Very good performance so far from what, as has been pointed out, is a very young side. Always interesting at this time of year to get to see more of the U16 players on the verge of stepping up to the U18's.

Really like the look of Lacey every time I see him - nimble footed, skilful dribbler (and, as a bonus, a left footer cutting in from the right rather than another to add to the right footers who like to cut in from the left).

What has impressed me the most is that they have been able to match Wolves physically. Some of the Wolves-players are BIG.

Good point.

Not a surprise that Wolves hsve threatened most from set pieces - as you say, there's some very big players in their team.

Is Ibra 14 or 15? Transfermarkt says 14.

3-1 cuts in from the left and hammers it into the far corner from 25 yards

2-3 McLeod - good goal that as well. Flicks the ball on the volley over Harrison. Got away from the Kurgan to finish nicely

Wolves with a sensational finish to make it 3-2.

This referee is shite, letting Wolves get away with blatant cheating.

This Wolves team is a lot better physically than we are.

Again, referee being complete shite, just letting Wolves do what they want.

3-3 well deserved. Our midfield has been awful in the second half

Deserved equaliser for Wolves, wouldn't be surprised if they went onto win it. Burrell has absolutely dominated the midfield by himself.

Norkett and Williams both should have scored the winner....Williams stopped by the goalie, and Norkett hammers it over the over the bar from 10 yards

2nd time I watch Lacey and he looks like a great talent, the way he carries the ball is very easy on the eye.

Very disappointing 2nd half - Lacey's stunning strike aside.

I did put at HT 'very good performance so far', as there's been quite a few recent U18 / U21 games that have been the textbook "game of two halves'. This proved to be another. Our first and second half performances were poles apart - it was like the West Ham U21 match in reverse.

Still, an acceptable result - though, obviously not one I'd have taken after being 2-0 and 3-1 up. And Lacey continues to look like a very exciting prospect.

You have to respect Playing younger lads up when they could quite easily go strong and push for winning league. Development over results

Don‘t think they have much choice, everyone’s injured.
