Lacey hype was real then. Only watched clips of him before shared by random twitter accounts.
Very good performance so far from what, as has been pointed out, is a very young side. Always interesting at this time of year to get to see more of the U16 players on the verge of stepping up to the U18's.

What has impressed me the most is that they have been able to match Wolves physically. Some of the Wolves-players are BIG.

I did put at HT 'very good performance so far', as there's been quite a few recent U18 / U21 games that have been the textbook "game of two halves'. This proved to be another. Our first and second half performances were poles apart - it was like the West Ham U21 match in reverse.
Still, an acceptable result - though, obviously not one I'd have taken after being 2-0 and 3-1 up. And Lacey continues to look like a very exciting prospect.

You have to respect Playing younger lads up when they could quite easily go strong and push for winning league. Development over results
You’d hope that’s something than can be coached later down the line but time will tell.
