Couldn't find a thread for this...

Barcelona vs Man City QF 1st leg on at the moment on BT Sport. 1-0 to Barcelona at HT, should really be about 5-2 were it not for some very good keeping by the City keeper and poor finishing by City's forwards.

So a pretty entertaining game so far, in case anyone would be interested but wasn't aware this was on.

So how likely will Lyon win it for the 100th time in a row?

Penalty saved! Barca had just scored a penalty so still 2-0.

Looked up the Womens La Liga and Barcelona have 20 wins from 20 games with 99 goals for and 3 goals against  More of a one team league than the Mens Bundesliga.

Lyon have lost 3 games in almost a decade in the french league. Some of the women’s league are unfortunately one team leagues. England had this issue with Arsenal years ago but it’s way more competitive now

English league is way more watchable now for sure

No longer just Arsenal leading the way

And it’s no long more recently just Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea

You’ve now got Man Utd and Everton ladies all making a dent to the league too, it really has pushed on in this Country

What a goal from Zadrazil!!

1-1 now between Chelsea and Bayern

first half hour was all Chelsea, with Bayern losing every challenge and second ball. Now we're back.

Bayern now clearly on top, should have scored. Chelsea desperately hanging on.

feck me sideways

first we get no penalty after a clear foul on Dallmann, then we concede another stupid standard goal

I'm not watching this game, but I watched the first leg. Bayern seem to dominate that game and we somehow snuck out of there with a narrow loss. Chelsea this season is almost the opposite of the men's team, extremely clinical - except Sam Kerr who seems to need loads of chance to score but she's improved on that front as of late.

not that it matters but this was like 5 meters offside :houllier::houllier::houllier:

equivalent to passing to a player that's behind the goalkeeper

That goal is another reason why women's football should have smaller goals. You can't get beat with a looping goal like that.

Kirby and Kerr will combine for at least one goal today. It is written.
