I remember the exact same thing being said about African teams back in the 90s.
They've got much better but the outcomes follow the same pattern. The argument used to be tactical indiscipline and naivety, can you still argue the same? Concentration?
Maybe it's more about belief? Some of the games above you expected the other side to score and somewhat turn it into "it was nice while it lasted". Not Senegal, I was very surprised but more a function of how shite Belgium had been.
Here's hoping Morocco prove me wrong on all of that
