Munoz never fails the eye test, whether it's at RB or RWB. Considering he's 30, I doubt we'd consider signing him, but he'd be a huge upgrade on Dalot.

I'd say I've watched 20-30 games of his at Palace and he is often their best player. Always making smart overlapping runs and has a very good end product. There was the suspicion that he was best suited to RWB but he has shown for Colombia that he can play RB equally as effectively.

Yes, by some absolute haters. Other vernacular would be copium. I get it, though, English fans not fond of Argentina for reasons, and Ronaldo stans doing their thing. Only major controversy about Argentina is the missed red card on Messi first match.

Otherwise, not really much in the conspiracy theories for them or any team getting overly favored calls. United get worse shit on an average PL match in comparison.

Agreed, and I would add the foul leading to Messi's record goal as a miss but I don't think it's a grand conspiracy. It's not like he wouldn't have broken it with another goal.

It has been quite over the top, more when other teams had more stuff on their favor. Yet it is what it is, it won't change.
 
Ghana might have a chance if they’d get Ayew off the pitch already. Dude can’t even run. Lot of that going around in this tournament.

Yep it’s annoying but what’s new with football fans. When I hear blatant conspiracy, the baseline I measure it up to is South Korea 2002. This world cup has nothing close to that level of feckery.

And also it has been for every team, mostly bigger ones. It has been also in general too leniant on let red/yellow card fouls slide on every match. On one side it has let the gasmes be more fluid and also quite better evading dives, but at some point someone might get seriously injured.

I like that they let contact happen and matches persist. I think that’s intentional for American audiences. But I’d like the trend to continue. What happened with Kone was a freak accident and could have happened in a match where everything gets called. Also doesn’t seem that there are any differences in injuries.

yes I agree in general, but for instance that Hakimi against Vini, with two super Top players was too nasty.

Dunno, but I think that the worst thing it's the fouls, at times it's like 1970 the sort of fouls the Argie League deal with (Libertadores too)
