Galton & Russo back :-) Hope to see them feature in some way, maybe ease them in?

It’s unbelievable really how far we have dropped since Tobin got her injury, what a difference that one player made. I’m hoping United go for some big players in the summer, time to get some world class acquisitions.

We started slow and our passing looked shoddy, but everything changed with Toone's goal. Front foot ever since and some very nice play. Not sure what some of our freekick drills are about though :D

No worries
Great first half. Press in particular has played as well in the first half as she has at any point in a United shirt. Toone has been excellent too.

Really amateur refereeing performance so far. Gives Zelim a yellow for "timewasting" at a free kick when their player was 5 yards away.

Blows whistle as we are breaking to add a 4th and allowing spurs players to just push us over. Good job we got an early goal, otherwise Spurs would just be allowed to foul at will.

Spurs score in injury time with a beautifully hit (and very simple) freekick from just outside the box. FT 4-1

Very annoying that the matches overlap - the schedulers need to get their acts together.

Only watched up to 67 mins. Thought Ella Toone played well, scoring with a left foot shot and a 2nd half penalty, getting an assist with a super cross for Christen's goal, as well as providing good through-balls for Christen's early chance that was saved and the opening that brought about the foul on Lucy Staniforth for the penalty. Kirsty Hanson got an assist with a great cross for Ella's goal, her dangerous cross eventually resulted in Jess Sigsworth scoring, she also had a decent chip saved in the 2nd half but her short passing was atrocious, as is the case far too often. Christen another who had a good game; lots of shots from her as well as scoring with a header, she held up the ball well and played a few nice passes including one to Kirsty in the build-up to the opening goal.

Katie Zelem was awful, shocking passing from her; a better opponent than Spurs might have punished her for gifting them the ball in our half. Kirsty Smith poor in the 2nd half mins that I watched; it wasn't obvious who she was attempting to pass the ball to, as there was no United player anywhere near where the ball went. First half she seemed ok.

A much better performance (for 67 mins). The team worked hard, tons of pressing to win the ball back.
