Except she looked choppy all game. Sometimes you can see it happening a mile off. We also have a new right back who is a much better player. It reminds me of when Casemiro got sent off against Chelsea, the way he was playing you could see it a mile off.Worse from the player. You adjust your game on a yellow. This idea that you have to sub certain players on a card can be annoying.
No, but it's more on the player imo.Except she looked choppy all game. Sometimes you can see it happening a mile off. We also have a new right back who is a much better player. It reminds me of when Casemiro got sent off against Chelsea, the way he was playing you could see it a mile off.
Nothing wrong with that imo.
Wrong threadThese lads are part-timers as well. They will be going back to their jobs on Monday.

Agreed. It's that thing with Rivière in particular though. She's a high risk/reward sort of player despite being a full back. Leads to some great rescue tackles and excellent attacking play - not so great when you're defending a lot and spending a lot of time under pressure. No, but it's more on the player imo.
Yep. I moved it.Wrong thread![]()

No grumbles about Jayde's red. My only complaint is that last year she was the most fouled player in the WSL, and I suspect she is this year too. Yet nobody has ever received a red against us for the constant battering she gets.Agreed. It's that thing with Rivière in particular though. Normally I'd say you only have to sub them if they seem to be attracting too much attention from the ref. Under pressure today, constantly pinned back? Not many of us were surprised to see that red card.
This is exactly how I feel, though I would find a way to work the word "valiant" into the discussion.Proud of the team ... every single one of them. That was a defensive masterclass. Janssen, Maya and PTJ were immense. Okay, we weren't great getting forward, but to stop Arsenal scoring when we had ten players for the last 32 minutes goes down as a great result for me.
They had much more possession, more shots, more corners ... but we hit the woodwork!
