Liverpool will be kicking themselves for giving the ball away that late but it was justice for all the chances we had burned before!
Someone wrote a piece on this in the men's game recently about teams kicking to touch from kickoff but it's absolutely surreal to see Liverpool women's team doing that. Literally just thumped the ball for a throw from the 2-0 kickoff after doing the same to start the game.

Super happy for Hinata getting the goal. I thought shed get a bunch after the world cup and her goalscoring there but shooting was the main dissappointment with her last season. Took that one well and could have had another. Hopefully she goes on a goalscoring run
I watched that match yesterday and so was thinking the same thing when you posted this. However, failing to get more than one goal out of their dominant first half was only part of Arsenal's problem: The bigger problem was that they didn't show up for the second half.

I believe we played Brighton away last year and dominated the 1st half and then Brighton came out like a new team in the 2nd half and it was different games. So getting that 2nd goal was vital.
I am always paranoid, but I would sub Riviere off to avoid the risk of her getting a 2nd yellow card = red and changing the game.
Yep, 7:00 a.m. Fortunately I tend to get up around 6 anyway, so these noon kickoffs in the U.K. are actually very convenient for me. The only problem is that I prefer my footie with ales, not coffee!

Missed the first half but a bit sloppy right now, bad from Toone not to play Terland in and awful from Riviere after that.
First half was great, should've really been four up at half time, but the level has dropped significantly this half.

That's two offsides that were definitely inside, poor officiating.
Its been weird for them to blow offside 2-3 times this game when it was not close to being offside, a bit more errors than usual tbf! I can understand when its very close for sure.

Liverpool had 3 breakaways today from playing long balls running in behind our defense at the half pitch line, that needs to be adressed! Great first half and then a sluggish second half when it felt like we kind of mentally drifted away.
