Surely Skinner has to rest some players now. That second leg against Brann is absolutely crucial
 
This doesn’t look good. Turner having to be stretchered off. Not sure what happened to cause it.
 
Turner went down off the ball which is never a good sign. We are cursed with injuries. Why can’t we ever have nice things?
 
Very worrying injury - not obvious what happened, which always makes it feel worse. Poor Millie.
 
We are always highly critical of United with regards to how the women's team is run but how is that Liverpool continue to be so bad at a time when the club is doing so well financially. Their women's team is much worse this season than before.

Annoyed for the same reason.
We’ve not been right since Turner’s injury. Think it’s thrown the team off their game.
 
Park’s first goal for United! Great finish. Good pass by Rolfo as well to set her off.

Similar problem to us really - management indifference and lack of women's football knowledge and no desire to fix it. They've done stuff on the things they broadly understand - like training facilities. They've not done enough on recruitment and retention and for most of the support staff it's more a stepping stone than a job.

They're hoping that Gareth Taylor will fix it all due to his experience with City. Trouble is, he lost a whole bunch of good players at City so he may not even be the answer to the coaching job.
 
It ends 5-1. Overall a very good day, lots of goals, players coming back from injury. The big downer is Turner’s injury. Can only hope it’s not too bad.
 
Millie Turner up and about. Knee brace in place and crutches taking her weight. Ouch.
 
I didn't see the game but it sounded like a very good performance (again). Very happy with the result and Maya and Jayde scoring for my FF side. Shame we didn't keep a clean sheet though.

Interestingly, against Brann and today we conceded a goal as soon as a CB went off. I hope Millie is okay but I fear it's not good.

Edit: Bloody hell, I am one.point away from the highest score in the entire FF this week, with Vignola yet to play!
 
Absolutely delighted scoring five away, however do feel we will need to keep the ball better against Arsenal. Millie on crutches suggests to me that's a lengthy one.
 
Couldn't watch but fantastic result on a big potential banana skin. Park has really made a great start here.

Good to have so many in goalscoring form going into the huge match midweek, too.
 
I was at the game, in the Lionesses end, and United looked pretty dynamic in attack, using the wings well to both defend and launch attacks, but bursting through the middle in numbers too. I was near the goal and actually took a photo just as Jess Park started her dribble (wish I'd had my phone on video mode!). I knew it was going to end with a great goal; you just get that feeling sometimes.

The Lionesses actually had three or four good attempts earlier on, but Phallon handled everything with aplomb (I'm sure she's 7 foot tall!). So, yeah, defence need to be on top form against Arsenal etc., but we're scoring plenty at the moment. The marauding nature of it reminded me of the van Nistelrooy era (as I remember it, at least!). Malard looks dangerous every time she's near the box.

If we hold our own with Arsenal and Chelsea this term, definitely in with a title shout!

I love your confidence in the team. Apart from the injuries we've really made a perfect start but you're right to mention Arsenal and Chelsea - Arsenal are looking impressive and Chelsea are looking as professional as ever.

Love the username as well!
