Kinda frustrating how many times we’ve had the ball in an attacking position only for us to pass the ball backwards and then lose it anyway
So many unforced errors in promising positions in attack and a few in dangerous areas in defence. Decision making and game management are poor.
Good draw. We were pushed i to our half for large periods of the game so not the worst result.

Second half less positive than first for us, only really had a go at playing in the Arsenal half in the last 5 mins or so there. Decent defensive performance though
Can't complain about the result, and Arsenal didn't do enough themselves to merit a win, but a bit disappointed by our showing on the ball. Has been a busy few weeks though and only a few days rest since the second leg.

Guys, we literally played a team that pays DOUBLE our player salaries after having a midweek game vs Brann. Rolfö got some minutes in her legs and so did George.
This is a game we should lose at least 8 times of 10 so I take a point anytime even if it was ugly. Even Terland looked tired and paralyzed coming on as late sub.
Skinner waited to long with subs as usual, credit to the team for keeping the defense so tight against Arsenal who has scored goals at unprecedented rates since RS took over.
Tullis Joyce saved a point with that killer save in the 1st half tipping the mercenary Smiths shot in the bar.
This result would be like snagging a point of Barcelona or Lyon in the champions league.

Agreed. This team punches way above its weight considering the relative lack of interest from the club owners.
To add, Skinner must have set up this team with a decent defensive structure? I think the most dangerous looks Arsenal got was when we made brainless decisions at the back with the ball handing it to them!
The only thing I dont understand is why he is keeping tired players on for so long with decent players on the bench. He must be afraid of breaking the formation or something.
Also, we had Zigiotti playing right back the last 10-15 minutes and still managed to hold on! Love Zigiottis attitude btw, she means business!
Have to add, Janssen did not put a foot wrong today and she was a piece I was concerned about.

How as the crowd today? I watched in via SVT which is the swedish state broadcasting and they had shut off the sound so that whistles from the ref and the crowd was not audible. It sounded 3 times louder when it was 3000 vs Brann last thursday via MUTV. Reason I ask is we had some Arsenal fans watching on BBC and mocking us about LVS being silent today!
Very satisfied with the week’s work. Zigiotti was my MOM coupled with very honourable mentions from Hinata, DJ and Anna. Rolfo a little too casual without the ball but has plenty going forward.
It was pretty loud in parts, both sets of fans sung
Arsenal fans drowned out but they didn't have a lot to shout about.

She is more of a graceful swan of football than a constantly hard worker. She is not lazy, but she is not going to run around like Malard chasing down the ball. It was Rolfös first start since the EUROs so hopefully there is more to come there!Well, I enjoyed my first trip to the LSV. As a Warrington RL fan it felt a bit alien rocking up to the 'Leopards Den' as a home fan but well worth the drive. Ridiculously cheap day out in the sunshine and best of all we pinched a point off them. Really worried after midweek they'd run away with it especially once they introduced Kelly and Mead but we neutralised them and Russo excellently. Such a shame we have a negative instinct rather than bursting forward. Park brings so much danger and pace but I feel a lot of the momentum is lost once someone else gets it.

Totally kidding, of course. I agree that she looked like she came out on tired legs from the start. I would have subbed her off after about 60 and moved Park to the 10.
I also was worried that with our short rest and short bench, this could've gotten ugly -- and I got extra worried when Kelly and Mead came on. (It must be nice to have two players like that on the bench, huh?) But the whole team showed the kind of grit and determination that has come to characterize this squad. As you said, Russo (and also Blackstenius) were completely neutralized (er, I mean "neutralised"). We can argue about whether Skinner's substitutions came too late, but I think I think he managed this game brilliantly considering the circumstances. I'm very happy with the point and suspect that he is too.
I also suspect that there will be long lines for the hot tub and ice bath in the changing room today, and I hope Skinner decides to give everyone an extra day off this week. They almost certainly need it, and they've very certainly earned it!
According to the BBC, the attendance of 8,665 was a record for LSV.
So, get the same result away against Areenal, and home and away against Chelsea and City, beat all the rest by more goals than our rivals, and we win the WSL. Easy.

Agree with lots of what has been said here. We did look cautious, especially compared to the first two league games and Thursday, but we were tired, and it worked. I think with a long view of the season (and seeing the WCL schedule!) this looks like a pretty well managed game. And what turned out to be a pretty safe draw whilst match tired and missing defenders might both look good tbf, and give us another confidence boost about what this squad can do.

Was a strange decision for POTM - Arsenal only had 1 shot on target! It was a good save TBF but you expect multiple saves for a keeper to get that award
Maybe a strong indicator of the lack of goal threat in this game from both sides
Phallon "saved" crosses - plucking them out of the air for fun. But Sandberg stifled so many Arsenal attacking opportunities, as did Janssen and Maya. Actually, Arsenal created nothing from their left, so maybe give Bizet POTM for doing so well out of position!
