Recovery time? Who needs it. Well, us in all honesty. Our results the weekend after a WCL match haven't been great. We've got our work cut out to win.

In our favour though, Thursday night left us in a great mood. Adrenaline and confidence as a cure for fatigue? Let's hope so.

I've not heard on updates on players, so I don't know if Rolfo is available for this one. We know that Toone and Galton aren't. Some minutes for Drury and Griffith's maybe?

Next week is another tough one. Atletico on Thursday night is at least at home and with the three goal cushion, it shouldn't be too heavy. Next Sunday we'll be playing Chelsea in the WFA Cup, so we do need to practice recovering well.

Match is live on Sky Sports Premier and on WSL YouTube.

Any news on Anna Sandberg, who limped off against Atlético?
Only from Marc Skinner's post match comments. Something like, "she felt something in her calf" and "nothing sinister as far as I know". I'm assuming that by "nothing sinister" he meant not something like knee ligament damage.

That said, both Anna and Maya have played with strapping on their legs in a couple of recent matches. The wear and tear is catching up with us.

I was kind of assuming that Sandberg won't play this one, but that's just my instincts taking rather than any knowledge.

I'm not sure if Lundkvist can play at leftback, but we do have Gabby George as an option there. Gabby George and Millie Turner are available for the centre back slot if Maya needs to get some rest before she actually breaks down.

Rolfo will miss this one. According to Marc Skinner she may be ready for the Thursday match.

Sandberg will miss this one as well - her injury is described as "being assessed" so no return date yet.

Toone, maybe the end of March.

The WSL Cup final is on the 15 March and the Women's Champions League QF first leg (assuming we get there) is on the 24 March. So the chances are that we won't have Ella for those.

Incidentally the Women's Asian Cup is scheduled for 1-21 March and I'm guessing that Hinata will be with Japan throughout that period. Going to be a tough month for us.

George in for Sandberg is a given. Malard on the left and Galton is close to a return. Janssen into midfield when we lose Miyazawa, with Turner slotting in at CB. I'm happy with that.

It's funny how we now have so much more quality depth than a year ago, which in principle should alleviate these issues but in practice doesn't do so by as much as one might think. A lot depends on which particular players are injured, or need rest to reduce the chances of injury, and in our case it does feel like "the wear and tear is catching up on us." For example, nobody can really replace Tooney, and her absence has ripple effects through the whole lineup (e.g., playing Park at the 10 takes her away from her best position). Having both Rolfo and Galton out at the same time means that we can't rest Malard. And Maya really needs a break, which I hope we can solve the easy way rather than the hard way (if you know what I mean).

As for Lundkvist, I remember her saying in her first MU interview that she is comfortable on either side, and thinks that her versatility is one of the assets she brings to the club.

‘She felt something in her calf’ sounds dangerously close to calling her an over-involved cow, but maybe I’m too sensitive on this point.

‘Nothing sinister’ probably just means that she is not a Satanist, as far as he’s aware, even if she is Swedish.

My instincts told me Sandberg will play, and my Fantasy team will now suffer because of it. Aargh.

Dom's a very different midfielder to Hini. Even if still effective (Miyazawa will in all likelihood miss the league cup final), the gameplan will need to be different.

Multiple changes today. Turner, George, Awujo, Schuller and Naalsund start.

Park, Awujo, Hinata, and Naalsund all on together. How does that work? Curious to see how they line up.

Frustrating way to start. Parris found that space far too easily.

Ball ricocheting around in the 6 yard box - we were lucky to survive there.

We're looking mentally and physically flat at the moment. A kind of tiredness in there that's not just physical - it's like we're playing a training game.

Some really sloppy passing particularly out to Riviere when theres a good chance to get her down the wing, as well as struggling with London's pressing in our defensive third but at least we're level at half time thanks to Park

PTJ has to improve her kicking/passing. Great shot stopper but often in panic mode when the ball is passed to her.

Phallon looking a bit rattled today. Given the ball under pressure and fumbled it to Parris. Could easily have given them a second goal

She seems particularly rattled today. I don't think she's really settled since that early goal from Parris
