Excellent goal. I thought it took a while for Rolfo to settle here but she’s probably up there with Park as our most important player right now

Brutal really. Liverpool are having a dreadful season. Sam Kerr is only just getting back to full fitness - but she definitely hasn't lost her goalscoring touch.

Early on she was coming on as sub and she was being asked to defend a lot. It was all a bit of an awkward fit.

This last couple of weeks though, she's really coming into her own as an attacker, both wide and in the centre.
 
Very good win. I'm happy with that. I could watch Miyazawa all day - such a brilliant player.

I had to do things approaching half-time, and when I switched back on it took me 15 minutes to realise I was watching the 3-3 game.

@jojojo I know. I watched us hit the bar three times and have two cleared off the line ... I was like, not again!
 
That's hilarious. At some point during the first half I found myself wondering if I was inadvertently watching a replay of the previous match, but just when I was about to double-check the announcer mentioned something about the Juventus match. We weren't repeatedly hitting the woodwork, but it sure felt familiar for awhile.

Anyway, it looked to me like our squad was understandably suffering from mental/emotional fatigue, but they (again) found a way to step up and get the job done. I was really proud of them to somehow find a way to win under the circumstances. The winter break couldn't have come at a better time.

I love this team.
 
I was getting so annoyed with the commentator who kept on mentioning points and table positions. I was like, it's a cup game! Anyway, my fault for not being more precise with what I am doing.

Miyazawa and Riviere are my players of 2025, but Sandberg and Janssen and Rolfo are up there. And Park - she is exciting.

I love this team.

We could have an interesting discussion about this -- maybe it would be worth a thread?

For now I'll just say that I would exclude Rolfo and Park since they've only been here for about a third of calendar year 2025. They both look to be likely candidates for a 2025-2026 season award, though.

This is a tough one, as usual, because so many different players have contributed in so many different ways at different times.

That said, I can't argue with either of those choices, but I think I'd have to include MLT (as always).
 
Riviere for me. One of our best last season and one of our best this season so far. Le Tissier has dipped a bit
