Personally, I put my poor showing this week purely down to the fact that @jojojo neglected to update the thread title. Unsurprisingly, this underhand bit of gamesmanship resulted in him dumping me out of The Demon League Cup.
Wingin' It are now leading the way, having scored a very healthy 53 points. Fins Parkers @Scanny and The Lost Caseys @Grande joint top scored this week with 63 points, but used up their Wall and Bench Boost respectively. 22 points on the bench for The Lost Caseys is some bonus! So the top award this week goes to Skinner Out FC with an unaided 62 points.
Almost half of our league scored below average, which is unusual, but mainly due to captains not performing. It happens.

In my defence, the only reason I did so many illicit legally confounding operations (apart from screaming incompetence), is that I want to provoke the PL into coming down hard on me as ‘the little man’, and then they would have to do something about Man City too as a consequence.
If there’s any consolation in it, I am chained at the bottom of the league table for the same reason.
Just bumping this as a reminder that you need to start preparing your team for the other side of the international break.

I'm not sure why the app is currently showing the transfer and formation deadline as 11:30 but that seems weird to me.
Both our game with Aston Villa and the Arsenal/Chelsea match kick off at 12:00 UK. Deadline is usually one hour earlier.
I wouldn't be surprised if they pushed the deadline to 10:30 due to some teams announcing early, but 11:30 seems odd. Which makes me ask - what are other people seeing in the app?

The App is all over the place. It is suggesting an 11.30 deadline, as you said. It also states that both United and Arsenal drew 0 - 0 at the weekend.

My team this season has been remarkably consistent, just not in a good way. I've advised the board that I understand their concerns.
I'm hearing rumours that Sean Dyche reckons he could do this in his lunch hour but he's already said he would just hit the clean slate button to grab a random squad and build it from there. The boards just a bit concerned about the loyalty bonuses and stuff that they'd have to pay out with a mass exodus. In reality I should have done this myself at the end of September.
At any rate I think we're close to reaching a deal to end my contract by mutual agreement.

Sour to go out of the one tournament I have any chance whatsoever in, when my 52 points would have beaten five out of seven opponents in the draw.
But I take my cannabinoid hat of to the Hempire.
Like many, I struggled this weekend and would have been squashed by Fins Parker had I made it past the Hempire.
The most annoying thing was that my four unused subs alone woumd beat my first eleven comfortably (27-22). Ifthey say Skinner is too cautious with using the bench, I wonder what they would make of me.
I know it's tough, but look on the bright side - The Demon FA Cup starts in January, so you get another chance!
