All they need is a few WC attackers. Rest, the squad composition is quite good, they can wait it out 2-3 years for the rest to reach their peak and they'll be quite a force.

Just get Ndiaye or Minteh type players and they should be in the CL spots.

As a project I think theirs is more promising than ours atm unfortunately despite the current league standings.

Lavia always injured. Enzo probably leaving. Other options not that amazing. Xhaka-Caciedo would be decent.
You're forgetting James once per week as a midfielder - Reece-Caicedo is an elite midfield two. Don't think he has the legs to get up and down as a wingback; would rather he play in midfield at this point

James won’t even start for England in that position.

Similar to Shaw being an elite CB.

True - but England have Rice, Anderson, Wharton et al and a shortage of right backs at the moment. International selections are always a case of fitting square pegs in round holes.

And not to be rude but I'm not sure Shaw's top level performances as a CB compare to James' as a midfielder - considering James in midfield won an EXTREMELY Important and Not At All Made Up European Trophy last summer (this is of course a bit facetious but James/Caicedo/Enzo outplaying Vitinha/Neves/Ruiz in a "final" is still pretty impressive)

Yeah but Shaw started CB when we played Arsenal off the park and lost 0-1 at OT.

So you think Anderson and Wharton are better than elite level (which James apparently is?)

Yeah sorry mate but you’re being over the top. Unless we have different views on what elite is.

They have no European football next season and recorded record Premier League losses last season.

Who are these world class attackers they are bringing in?
