It comes in cycles, Englands 2017 u17 gen was arguably one of the most talented ever (of any nation) can't expect a similar gen for a while.Fair to say the kids aren't quite tearing it up like they were a few years ago?
You really want to call Nketiah a player from Chelsea's academy?
Was there from age 8 to 15. Of course he is a player from our academy. You really want to call Nketiah a player from Chelsea's academy?

It's hard to say .In 2017 there was a fantastic amount of talent from the 17s - 20s but the stars did align too, we were able to get nearly all our best players in the age groups to the major tournaments. That has proven to be much more difficult since for various reasons and will continue to do so going forward. I think there are still a number of exceptionally high talents across the groups still. With the state of the England senior team a lot of the best players have quicker routes to the first team also so don't hang around in age group international football.Fair to say the kids aren't quite tearing it up like they were a few years ago?
