Lyrics are pretty terrible but it's pretty catchy, especially when you hear it around the ground.
Nah... often it will be different fans. This time it was a group of lads in the red army who started it off in a town centre bar before his debut in the Wolves match.
They sang it a lot on the concourse before the match too so people start to learn the words and it just spreads from there.
I'd make one change but this is amazing

As a foreigner observing European football as a whole, I've always wished England's chant and fan culture was more like what I see in continental Europe. Few clubs (and I admit I don't nearly know them all) have proper ful on songs, not just chants, that players and fans can sing together. I'll never get the image of Sevilla's players singing and dancing wildly with their fans at OT last time out of my mind. The Barca song from our UCL final at Wembley played in my ears for months and months after I left the staidum. We've all seen Herr Muller when he turns fan. I wonder if we could/do have songs like that. Proper sing songs our players can come over and enjoy with the fans...
What you are describing was happening at Celtic for a while with Kieran Tierney and the fans.
I managed to get to an el Clasico and was expecting the barcelona song to be better to be honest, I think the culture of chanting is much better in the UK than anywhere else. Some of the back and forth banter chants are brilliant and then you have the new one towards city fans that’s just hilarious.
Yeah that's probably a better alteration. Encapsules him better I think than songs like 'he's from Portugal', "plays position x" which is kinda boring, lazy and generic to meI'd make one change but this is amazing
