The best is Andrey Santos, but Chelsea owns him. Another player who will waste his talent in their 50 players squadCan't do much wrong with a DM talent from the French league.

I’d be 100% on board with a Amadou Koné + Stiller summer vs an Ederson one (not that I don’t rate him).
It’s so rare to find players like him. On the CAF we play an online football manager game called Soccer Manager where the players ratings change based on real life form. It’s essentially competitive scouting with a match engine in it. Now this means do like as a hobby to scout players. It’s why sometimes I have a very random knowledge on X player from team Y.
Anyway, when searching for midfielders he came up as an absolute gem. He profiled better overall than Baleba so then I found a site that also did a deep dive on him and it confirmed my views by presenting the above stats. His performances more recently have only solidified my view. This is a potentially special midfielder for a lower fee.
For Cisse.
Stuttgart apparently want €60m for Stiller.
They play the cup final against a third league team. So they are highly likely to play in the EL next season.I don't think they will get that for him. It's probably what they hope to get but I think his fee will be lower than that in the end. I think he has 2 years left on his contract and Stuttgart are 10th on the table so no European football next year. Stiller is in the national team so needs to continue to play in europe to cement his place in squad and get further exposure.
Same it was just to illustrate for those less familiar with Cisse a reasonable and easy mini profile on him.Interesting profile. He could be a late bloomer but I would still rather take a chance on Kone. He's shown really good signs, even from such a low sample size. You don't get that blend of midfielders with his size, carrying ability and passing.
The Kone we already have? Or Amadou?Interesting profile. He could be a late bloomer but I would still rather take a chance on Kone. He's shown really good signs, even from such a low sample size. You don't get that blend of midfielders with his size, carrying ability and passing.
Ah, didn't realise that. Yeah, then they could ask for close to 60m. I still doubt they will get it but that's up to how good of a negotiating team they are. Liverpool could pay that as they will spend a bit in this coming windowThey play the cup final against a third league team. So they are highly likely to play in the EL next season.

I’m not as fussed about pursuing Boauddi. He’s too young to invest in and wouldn’t play minutes for us just yet. Let him develop and see how his physique develops as I see him as either a 6 or an 8 depending on how he grows.Ok, gotcha. Another young DM who has an interesting profile is Soungoutou Magassa from Monaco. The french league seem to throw up these CM/DMs that are excellent dribblers in midfield whilst being athletic monsters. I wouldn't be against him either but I'm more excited by the little bit I've seen of Kone so far. Honestly, we need that type of profile.
I don't know who I would want between Kone and Ayyoub Boauddi, who I also really like. We need both profiles in our squad but probably only have space/budget for one of these young midfielders.
Yeah, box crashing is essentially their ability to get into the box for goalscoring opportunities.Sorry @BenitoSTARR that graphic of Cissé mentions Box Crashing, is that basically the timed run for a chance of scoring inside the 16? Or am I way off base?
People have already mentioned Amadou kone who I think has quite a bit of talent but may not be a baleba level talent. May as well just get the original but I see the vision.
Franco mastantuono isn't exactly a hidden gem but he'll be the next great AM most likely. We need to get him in
Ayyoub bouaddi will be a Top CM/DM in future
Jeremy jacquet is the next saliba/yoro level CB talent out of France.
Unfortunately our club doesn't value these sorts of talents so I doubt we bring in any of them, unlike other top clubs we are too dysfunctional and imprudent for that.
You'll only see us stick our head out of the sand after they've already blown up and we can't compete for them.
Alvyn Sanches. He plays for Lausanne - an INEOS team. He just turned 22 and is the type of super physical, 1v1 threat that we haven't had in a long time. 16 G/A in 28 games.
The most interesting thing about him is how multifunctional he is. This season he's played as a 10, a winger, BOTH wing-back positions and even channeled Moussa Dembele in a press-resistant, ball-carrying, deep midfield role.
Goals from this season:
General play:
Bit too cinnamony for my taste.Clement Bischoff is also a potential gem of a player.
I’m doubling down on this now.As an aside Evan Guessand is also a potential bargain, I’m not sure if it would be for us, but he’s exactly the kind of physical profile that a Brentford or better should be all over if they sell Mbeumo.

He can play 9 or RW inside forward. Is he a 9?
Only an issue if we're in the same European competition. Maybe that was the plan all along!I'm sold on him, but can Utd buy from Nice, I thought that was an issue because of ownership?
Nice confirmed 4th place finish (1 point off 3rd) means they qualify for the Champions league 3rd round.Only an issue if we're in the same European competition. Maybe that was the plan all along!
Might be why SJR is looking to sell his stake in NiceNice confirmed 4th place finish (1 point off 3rd) means they qualify for the Champions league 3rd round.
They need to win 2, two legged ties to make it into the main league.
Wouldn’t surprise me if he “sells”.Might be why SJR is looking to sell his stake in Nice
Very interesting player.Is he a 9?
He can play 9 or RW inside forward.
It’s his combination of running, passing, goals and assists with his physical profile that make him stand out massively.
I think he’s a future star.
What about our former golden boy? He's leading the top scorer table. He’s now hit 20 goals and assists combined, is 23 going on 24 with honestly one of the best physical profiles of a wide/CF you’ll find. Strong, fast, hard to knock off the ball. Makes intelligent and intense runs regularly and creates goals with good passes and cut backs (similar profile to Salah). He’s a game breaker he can do both.
Player of the season for OGC Nice and I’m going to throw it out there. The best attacker in Ligue 1 not playing for PSG.
That is high praise when you consider Emegha, David etc.
He comfortably has more to his game than Højlund. Comfortably.Do you think he has enough in his game to come in and start as a 9 for us? Or is he a squad player at this point?
I’m wondering if we get Guessand and Delap, that will be good enough for us or would it have to be one or the other in your opinion?
He’s the wrong kind of attacker on and off the pitch. He’s also not as good all round with his back to goal. What about our former golden boy? He's leading the top scorer table.

He’s getting into goalscoring positions through outstanding movement, link up play and often through his own carries into the box.Yeah out of all the suggestions made here his highlights look the best.
I suppose his finishing would maybe be something of a question mark. Doesn't look completely natural.
But he does look really promising.
He comfortably has more to his game than Højlund. Comfortably.
I could see him as a cheap alternative to an Mbeumo/Semenyo or even as a 9. His back to goal play, passing, pressing, and link up is excellent. He runs and runs at high intensity and is great at getting OSC Nice up the pitch.
Both would be superb combined with a Cunha I think youve gone from having one of the worst attacks in the league to one with pace, power and potency.
