Your Hidden Gems or under the radar - Wanted Signings

Djaoui Cisse is much taller though. I like how he plays for the U21 NT. We should get both and just hope we don't need to sign Baleba / Wharton.

He's not that much taller, 1.88m vs 1.85m. Cisse is an interesting player and we should definitely be looking at him. Not a bad idea to get both, for the price of Baleba makes sense.

I think most people remember the West Brom and Everton Lukaku and were genuinely shocked at the version we got.
Its all relative. He was carrying timber and had a heavy touch but he also had 36 goals and assists in that first season. If Hojlund did that, they'd erect a statue for him.

Definitely, he was effective, but it ended up being in the channel rather down the centre - much like I think Hojlund will be.

Transfermarkt has Kone at 1.78. Maybe they have outdated data

According to Belgian media, Milan is offering €30 million for Jashari (best player in Belgium last season). Both Fulham and us are supposedly interested, but he's already rejected Fulham.

Not really a hidden gem, I have wanted and mentioned him as a signing for 5years and actually wouldnt now if we can get main targets as a striker....but if we cant....

Amine Gouri of Marseille

Great finisher, superb feet and ability....inconsistency and I wonder may ambition, hasnt reached heights I expected...

But he is a much cheaper option than Ekitike...and Cherki like out wide...which is a good squad option especially with a few players off to Africa for a while.

Not a first choice striker signing for me now, but if we cant get them, definately one of two cheaper signings to play there

Gouiri is good but not good enough for a top club. And he plays for Algeria so he'll be gone during CAF with Mbeumo and Amad (and Mazraoui and Onana). He'd be a decent fallback option if he was cheap but Marseille paid €22M 5 months ago, they'd ask for a lot of money.
And for that kind of money, there are many cheaper strikers in Ligue 1 I'd go for before Gouiri (Biereth, Emegha, Stassin, Abline, Fernandez-Pardo, even Kalimuendo, Guessand or Mikautadze).

I think if we get rid of Case, we would make a move for him. I don't think we buy a midfielder till late in the window after Mbuemo and a striker are done.

More talk of us today being interested in him. Will be interesting if our interest firms up and we make a bid. He has a really good all-round profile.

Jashari looks very interesting but in the clips you do feel like he is playing at quite a low level. Would be interesting to see how he would adjust to the Prem, so if we do go for him, I hope we get him in ASAP to have a proper pre-season.

I think it depends on if we get Case out the door, as we don't have cash now that Mbuemo looks to be done. He would be a good, young replacement for Erikksen.

Although I still think our midfield lacks a ground eater that seems to dominate across the EPL. I hope we are thinking of Baleba next season or someone of that profile.

He was Brugge's main man in the Champions League though, winning games against Aston Villa, Sporting Lisbon, Atalanta, Drawing with Juve etc. I think he oozes class.

He looks very good but he's that bit pricey (£34mn asking price) for a player in the Belgian league that I'm not sure I can see us taking the risk. We just can't afford a miss with our next midfielder even if he could turn out to have enormous upside. The league undoubtedly produces great players but I also remember Charles de Ketelaere looking incredibly dominant in Belgium before ending up a total flop after moving to Milan and don't think United would take that risk even if we'd like them too.

Could totally see Brentford replacing Norgaard with him though and him being brilliant.

I think Kalimuendo will be great for a bigger club, I would have liked to take a punt on him when he wasn't fancied at PSG and on the market. I imagine Rennes will ask for a fair whack now though.

Yea Rennes would probably ask for a lot of money after looking at the price of the other strikers on the market, as they should. I'm not sure about his ceiling, but in my opinion, with Mbeumo and Cunha behind him his profile would fit perfectly as a 9 in Amorim's tactics.

Forget Sesko, I've got my eye on this guy...

I have only watched him with Germany and Germany U21 recently but he looks like an attacking midfielder to me, more 10 than 9. Maybe has to do with how they use him in the national team, I havent really watched him with Stuttgart. Either way he's been really impressive, a tall baller.

Watch AZ player Kees Smit in the under 19 Euros final tonight.

He will be the new Bergkamp.

Yes he is not a no.9

We’ve got one of those already!

Due to his technical quality he often plays on the 10. Especially in Bremen before he also was dramatically not a goal threat, but got a lot of playing time in midfield. But by now he really has clicked and will likely be the topscorer of the U21 Euros now (2 goals ahead of Elliot before the final now). To me he always feels like a less powerful, slimmer version of Ibrahimovic. Similar amazing technical quality for a player of his size, just a bit less physical power.

Just came in here to plug this guy too. I hope we go in for him at that price.

To me he smells like a lad who does really well in Germany but would flop completely when he comes to England. Just a feeling.

They were both underwhelming tonight a bit.

Though we did win I suppose.
Don't think many had you down for winning though. Wasn't a game high on quality mind you, so will have to look out for better examples.
