Your Hidden Gems or under the radar - Wanted Signings

he would be a very under rated signing but one much like i think, with Tyler Adams, would fit what we are wanting without causing a huge amount
He would cost minimum 60-70 m or even more unfortunately now .

Caleb Yarenkyi - 20 year old cm playing for FC Nordsjaelland, tailor made for the EPL in my opinion.

Funnily enough, 19 year-old Justin Janssen at the same club also showed up pretty well on the stats for DMs:

Aleksandr Stankovic Clube Brugge. Going to be a top 6

Turned out he was the last player whose stats I got to check out on fbref before the website got nerfed.

Below is a screenshot I took, for posterity.

However, the thing which confused me, and partly held me back from posting about him, is: why the heck did Inter Milan let him go, if he's that good?! There must be something I'm missing... Does he lack pace and mobility? I've not got round to watching any Bruges games yet to have more of a look. He's "going to be a top 6" what? He certainly has some impressive seeming attributes, with his set-pieces, long-range passing and aerial ability.

Really like Caleb Yarenkyi, he's able to play as an 8 and as a 6. Similar to Baleba is that he's got insane athleticism and speed which makes him a cheat code in the 6 position. His passing is pretty solid too and I have no doubt, data led clubs like Brighton will be onto him when they sell Baleba. He's not a starter but someone who can come into the squad and be a back-up. Although there would be a good shout to buy him then loan him for a year but as Bergvall has shown, players from Scandinavian league can make the step up immediately due to the physicality of their league

Whoever buys Viktor Dadason will hit the jackpot

Viktor Dadason is the youngest player to score 3 goals in the champions league

He scored the first goal in a match vs Barcelona for FC København last Wednesday night at Camp Nou

Room + money. Same reason Juve easily let go of a Huisen. Rumour is they have a low buy back clause if they desire to get him back.

The buy-back clause is believed to be €23mil. Bruges only bought him for €10mil.

If you were concerned about finances, you wouldn't PAY €13mil to effectively just loan another club your player for one season!

If he was that good surely another club would have actually loaned him, meaning it doesn't cost you anywhere near as much to take them back... Or Inter would have just made room for him themselves regardless?

European teams do it all the time. It gives those clubs an incentive to develop the player. Rather than a loan.

You'd pay 13m to get a 30-40m player though right? That's why people do it. If he doesn't improve, then you've got the right amount of cash.

Watched Middlesbrough vs Norwich today and Norwich have a forward who I think will end up in the premier league sooner rather than later. Makama, big, powerful striker. Really handful, mobile and looked threatening all game. Not sure he’d ever be what we are looking for, but at 21yr old he’s a good prospect.

Agreed. Watched him earlier in the season against Watford and said that, looks a real handful.

I mentioned Malanda from Middlesbrough earlier in this thread and him vs Makama definitely felt like a future premier league pair at it. Great battle!

My mates a boro fan and bangs on about him, might have to listen to him now!

Think they paid £6m for him and he was allowed to finish the season in the US. During that time someone in the premier league allegedly offered more than double what they paid to sign him, without him kicking a ball for Middlesbrough.

Great centre half: big, fast, strong can pass a ball and not afraid to bring it out. Makes it look very easy.

Dortmund just made a 30 million euros bid

not really an hidden gem - since linked with Liverpool and Real - but he looks like he could be a player:

Rayan from Vasco da Gama. Not a finished product, but the profile is interesting.

He's a 19 year old wide forward, 14G and 1A in 32 apps this season. He's 6'1 fast and strong.

Style wise he is quick, direct and pretty composed for his age. He can beat a man, link play in tight areas and actually looks for teammates rather than forcing shots.

Similar style to Semenyo

Well done - he looks a quality player.

Watched this on mute while listening to Blade Bird by Oklou (some track from the Pitchfork top 100 songs of 2025) and the lyrics about "being the one that ends up getting hurt" ominously foretold a future where he signs for Liverpool or Madrid and turns out to be the Kroos/Modric of this decade that we missed out on.

I don't know him but I feel like we do need to make 3 CM signings, one of who has to be this type of exciting profile for the future type in addition to 2 other established CMs

He does look VERY impressive, and apparently Brighton have already earmarked him as their next diamond.

Matias Siltanen - Djugardens - 18

This kid was playing for KuPS in Finland at 17, and was apparently on Bournemouth and Man City's radars - but instead he went to Djugardens as their Bergvall replacement. At Djugardens he's now putting up an incredibly similar overall level of stats to those which Bergvall was also pulling at 18 before his €10mil+ move to Spurs. However, while Bergvall's strengths were in ball carrying and goal-scoring, Siltanen's are in ball winning and long-range passing.

I've added stats radars below for Siltanen's 2025 season at Djugardens as an 18 year-old, and Bergvall's final season there (2024) as an 18 year-old.
Funnily enough - Fotmob assigned Siltanen's 2025 season an overal player rating of 7.28, and Bergvall's s 2024 season there a rating of 7.27...

Ha, funnily enough Lausanne Sport - Ineos' Swiss club - have just this January window signed right-back Theo Bergvall (Lucas' older brother), from Djugardens for €900k.

Hopefully this move could pave the way for Siltanen to also join the stable...

At the very least it should mean that Siltanen is on Ineos' radar.

Dylan Lawlor (CB at Cardiff) is going to make a Premier League club very happy
I thoroughly agree. Very composed, good ball carrier and excellent passing range for a young CB. Only downside is he's picked up a few niggly injuries this season but that might be expected as a 19 year old defender playing in a physical league.

Might just be my Aussie bias but I think Nestory Irankunda will turn out to be a very good PL level footballer.

Very rough at this point, but has insane speed, very good ability with the ball. Needs to add end product to his game though.

Feels like we've got most young talent on the radar just not pulling the trigger all that often. Ineos do seem keen on youth though.

Reminds me of the young Renato Sanches. Lets hope his career turns out better.

First start today after injury. Gets a first half assist and then scores a contender for League One goal of the season. He carries the ball from outside his own box through most of the Doncaster team and into their box and finishes with a side foot past the keeper. Outstanding talent.

If we are looking for an out and out left winger.. Mika Godts is really developing from a very raw skillful talent into a players who takes responsibility and delivers goals and assist..

Turning 21 in June, but has already made 102 appearances for the Ajax first team.. 14 goals and 9 assists so far in 25 games for an absolutely dreadful Ajax..

How is his mentality? There were rumors he refused to play for the Belgian U21 because he felt he was too good. He denied it later on but hasn't played for them up to yet.

Seems like a cocky kid when I see him play or talk, bit Garnachoesque (from a distance).

I dont have that feeling at all to be honest..

I think he is the kind of player - a skillful playfull fast winger - who might be a bit lazy'ish by default, but from what I hear and read about the guy is that he is very self aware and very concious about his development and area's he needs to develop. You also see that he is making steps gradually over time.. In his delivery of goals and assists, in his decision making, in the responisbility he takes during games which arent going well, in the energy he puts in forward pressure, his physique in general..

I can imagine he has a cocky attitude because of his looks, style, a bit of a nonchalance playing style, but also a bit of temper/annoyance when things don't go well.. But I think from self-consciousness and awareness of what work he needs to put in and where he needs to develop.. He has a top-class mentality..

About the refusal for Belgium -21.. He said the following himself: 'People don't know what's happening behind the scenes. When I cancelled for the team, I gave priority to my body, which has needed to adapt to grown-up football, and that demands choices.'

Damn, that's a very big boy.

Anyone seen much of Armando Gonzalez? Turns 23 next month and has 20 goals in 28 games in the Mexican league this season. Contract expires in December so he could be a relatively cheap option as back-up to Sesko. Seen links to various clubs including Barcelona, Dortmund, West Ham, Celtic and Feyenoord.

The last Mexican striker we signed from Chivas just before a World Cup turned out okay :)

With European football in mind and a shallow squad I really think Harry Wilson on a free transfer isn't a bad squad signing.

Arthur Atta of Udinese, a rough diamond of a player who could be the next Moussa Dembele ( the ex spurs cm) and a far cheaper alternative to Adam Wharton. Can play as a deep controller or in a range of more advanced positions and IMO has the technical and physical ability to play in the EPL. Has also been linked with Fulham who would have a real formidable central midfield pairing with both him and Berge.
