For me it goes like this:

1) Bailly - has all the tools to support Maguire perfectly
2) Lindelof - Lacks strength and Speed. He has everything else... but is a liability in high defensive lines.
3) Smalling - he can go if we wants. Solid defender but inconsistent with his feet. Our new way of playing from the back, does not suit him
4) Axel - Young... needs experience. I’ve seen him solid, then I’ve seen him abysmal... he needs time
5) Jones - Nah

2. Lindelof
3. Bailly
4. Rojo
5. Jones

No one will pay Jones wages. We're stuck with him for a few more years..

Smalling top.

The rest massively depend on whether they’re having a good or a bad day and as it’s the most important position for that to be as little a factor as possible it’s safe to say they’re not good enough. I would say Lindelof has more good games than the others but it’s hard to know as they’re injured 99% of the time. Possibly Bailly next, or above him, who the feck even knows?

Bailly on a good day can be a a real quality player , but consistency is his issue. Injuries have not helped , but with a decent injury free run , good coaching and a strong CB partner he still has the making of a a quality CB. A of if's there but the raw material is there as well unlike a lot of our other options.
