Oh fecking cuntarama. We should have had that weighed away before you scored. We ran out of gas in the last 20 minutes of normal time - your lot are on avearge a year older than ours.

In the end, we deserved to win. It's an U-18 tournament. If you're going to go in with 16-yr olds, don't use that as an excuse.
To be fair, we had a few youngsters in the side as well e.g. Welbeck, C. Evans.

our lot wouldn't need a penalty shoot-out against bristol city. and i'm not too sure about the age thing. we've got some 17 and 16 year olds as well. like the guy who out-jumped a couple of your defenders for the winner. he's a schoolboy, mate.

What a cracking game! Arsenal kids were suprisingly much physically stronger, but when United started to play, couldn't live with them

I thought spring had come and watched the game in a t-shirt - not a good idea. I'm absolutely sodding frozen to the bone

Not. Your lot is slightly younger. My estimate is about 1/11 (0.09) years since the combined ages (in full years) of Arsenal's starting lineup was 187, whereas United's was 188. By the way, you're 61.

Stop press. Arsenal 17.46 years. United 17.50 years. 0.04 years = two weeks. Slightly less than a year. Couldn't help myself...

brandy, for me (along with cathcart), is the brightest of our prospects at u-18 level, the guy is just so quick! and not only that, he has a trick or two up his sleeve, and has wonderful workrate, much like frazier campbell had last season...

Zieler did fine. The two Arsenal goals weren't his fault.
Very poor in the first half, spilled that easy shot in the first half, right into the path of th arsenal lad, we should have been punished then.

Also in the first half, he came and flapped at a cross.

If i was being super critical I would also say he should have cut out the cross goal ball for the first goal.

To be fair to Zieler, it was Ben Amos who got injured when he spilled that shot right towards the arsenal kid.

Great performance from the lads. We were outpassed in midfield and physically Arsenal were bigger, but as a team I thought we were marginally better and deservedly won out. Arsenal had dangerous attacking players but played some agricultural stuff at the back. I thought our full backs were a weak spot, and Hewson and Drinkwater lack passing ability, but we were good down the wings. Welbeck and Galbraith are very promising lads, especially the former. Cathcart and Chester also look good at the back, and Hewson is full of energy and can shoot - just needs to hone his passing more (whereas Drinkwater can pass and delivers very good corners and free-kicks, but lacks other parts to his game at present).

Hope the lads can go on to beat Liverpool in the final. The spirit is certainly there.

Brandy won't make it at the top level, I reckon.

You have to divide by 365,25. Arsenal 17.47. United 17.50. ;)
