Just watched the rerun on MUTV. Great game. Good performance from the youngsters since Palace were at it. Fagan looked on his mettle. Brandy and Wellbeck impressed, as did Eckersley. Amos was very solid.

I've only seen him a few times, but he looks a real cut above at that age group. Plays on the right of midfield, has a lot of skill, is quick, and his passing and shooting are very good. He's full of energy and can tackle too. I think he could be ready for the top leagues in a year or two, I really do. He and Amos are in the England U-17 squad.

His most recent strike came in the 4-2 win over Huddersfield when, having come on as a second half substitute, he rounded off the team's scoring.

Well Norwood and Ajose didn't play in the youth cup, but I saw this video, it's from the U16 England vs Scotland, and Norwood had an amazing pass for Ajose, Ajose had an unbeliveble first touch, and put it beond the very good scottish keeper. Fantastic goal...
