Now that Spector has been cleared to play in the reserves, there's going to be real competition for places.

As far as I know McShane and tate were doing very well. Tate apparently didn't look that good with his previous partner (can't remember who it is) but is forging a real understanding with McShane.

So as far as I know in the reserves there's McShane, Tate, Spector and someone else (Tate's old partner - Humphreys?) in competition for central defence places. As we've got a glut of central defenders at the mo, what with Wes coming back from injury and Silvestre claiming a place in the centre, it will be tough for these kids to make it.

In terms of right and left backs it's a lot thinner, particularly right back. Besides Lynch and Tierney I can't think of anyone in the reserves or U-19s who have impressed enough to suggest that they might make it. Even Lynch and Tierney have been iffy.

Is there anyone I've missed out?

Thoughts everyone?
