Big that Cassim and Eze are two massive talents at City, we’ve a really strong under 16’s crop and just had a strong under 18’s crop too. We’ve been very aggressive at underage level great to see.

Judging from what we have picked up or at least targetted, at academy level over the last 2 years, I would say yes. We are really targetting the right players at academy-level - and if he is in charge of that, I would say that is a big loss
 
TSS reporting that we’ve completed the David Eze deal but Blake Henry has moved to Chelsea
 
Is this summer a bit unique in terms of this much movement at the academy level? Or I'm just paying more attention?

This season is going be very exciting, can't wait, feels like the avg. levels of he u16 and u18s team is quite high. Will be interesting to see how fast they push some U16s. Also, bit interesting how loud city PR was with their signing of Nduka, getting articles from Ornstein for youth players, trying to cover for the losses of these 2 I'd imagine.

100% agree, very happy to see us aggressive in the youth market. Hopefully we start being equally as aggressive with overseas youth talent. We really need to be nurturing top talent as a) that is part of the United DNA (cringe I know) and b) prices of players are daft even after just one season of senior football.

Pretty sure every top English club is on the look out for top European and international talents with passport situations that allow them to join before the first profession contract...
 
So we apparently signed..

Robinson from Tottenham,

Eze and Cassim from City and

Konde from Liverpool.

Can someone here say more about those signings? Age, position, are they for U18/U21/Senior? How highly are they all rated?
 
It would seem to me that we are possibly going to start pushing the younger but physically ready lads up to 18s and 23s a good bit earlier. There's not much point in having 22 year old players in the 23s if they haven't impressed at senior level here or elsewhere at that point and are just making up numbers. We usually just let those players go for free in the end which is good of us but we need a lot more players we can make actual decent money off
 
Not seen him play but been hearing about him for a year now. Which is unusual for a club like Leicester City. Hopefully we can sign these type of profile kids for the future.
I really hope the Vincent Joseph singing happens too. this kid looks so good.
 
Is there a realistic possibility of getting Mcaidoo? Seen a couple of replies on Twitter talking about if we get him. I'm like why is that even being considered?
 
City have signed one of our u12 Nico Cadeau. Was one of our best talents in England at that age group.

This will have been the second year in a row that United's best u12 player on display at the Mediterranean International Cup has been nicked by City only a few months later.

Not a good look for United getting so many of their best youth players poached by City.

Reminds me when Noah Ohio left at age 13 to join City, who even remembers him?

u12 talent doesn’t mean a lot, players of that age have such a hard road to go, doesn’t matter how good they are at that age.

True. But still it isn't good that we lost our talent to City.

Well - in fairness we have poached 4 of Citys players over the last 3 years
 
I wrote this earlier in another thread that these players would be likely to leave.

"If I'm guessing: Ashton Missin, Ethan Williams, Ethan Ennis, Victor Musa, Finley McAllister, Jack Moorhouse, Louis Jackson, Habeeb Ogunneye, Dermot Mee."

So far, all of them are still here.
 
Has anyone heard about Godwill Kukonki? There were rumblings that he could leave but it seems everything is quiet at the moment
