Best striker in world. Amazing considering the injury he had.

Not if Arsenal don't win the league, which I don't think they will, no..

But I reckon he's been the best player in the league this season..

RVN is better for it than Henry. RVN has been more consistent than Henry this year, and has contributed more to United now seemingly winning the league than Henry has with Arsenal.

Two great players, Henry a better one in Shanks' opnion, but the award SHOULD have gone to RVN, for the above mentioned reasons.

Yes well done shanks. Your medal for honesty is on route via royal mail, expect it in the next 25 years ;)

Anyway, i agree with the points, Henry is prettier to look at and probably a better advertisment for the game and all, but Ruud does the job more consistantly over the year and as shown, scores more.

Still better than Owen though ;) :p

He struggles with self motivation, Shanks thinks. Against shitty teams Henry seemingly often cannot be arsed. Against big teams, most naturally raise their games. Henry rarely does.

He OFTEN doesn't perform against the shitty teams, and he RARELY raises his game against big teams. That's why he's so inconsistent. It's all to do with motivation.

Syd understands. Is it Shanks' third person speak that puts you off Murt, you seem to be the only one who doesn't understand my threads. What a shame. :)
