Seriously, why is the thread still here? Any other poster and the thread would have been locked or at least renamed and the poster would have been banned long ago.
It's a shame nobody made this point earlier.

I agree with many in here, Cina should be banned.

Edit: Just seen he made this thread as well! Now he's got to go.

Not really. Rules are rules but:

- Rules are meant for some reason. If WUMs were tolerated then the place would become unbearable. Every second thread would have been a WUM.
- Now, that doesn't mean that WUMs shouldn't ever happen. Because they aren't tolerated, people are safe from them. Every once a while a mod or a high profile poster makes a WUm thread, people laugh and that is the end of the story.

People laughed on this thread which is better than pretty much all other football threads at this moment.
I find this thread very funny but this kind of reasoning alot less.

Rules are the same for anyone, that is one of the principals behind justice which is the only way rules can be acceptable by those who need to follow them. I belong to a community, The community has rules that apply to everybody in that community, hence the rules apply to me and I have to follow them. When rules apply to some and not to others, they become vague and unsupportable. If wumming isn't allowed on this forum, it should be not allowed for moderators either.

If you want to allow wumming in a certain context like this then the rules should be changed and clarified in the policy that everybody has to follow. The rule should be described as you described it in your post. Wumming not allowed for normal members to protect the community from continious and unappropriate wumming but allowed for forum moderators under the condition it is done with moderation and with the goal to provide some fun and excitment on the forum.

However high profile poster, this is again very vague and hence unspupportable. What is a high profile poster, under what conditions can a poster regard himself as high profile and be allowed to wum ? Nothing is clarified on this matter hence the policy about it is just vague and bad. Vague rules are bad, simple as that.

Forum moderators should be giving the right example. They start a wumming thread, a new poster sees this and thinks it is allowed, so he does the same and gets banned without a moments notice or chance to appeal. It is not just in my opnion.

I've got a bit of a cloudy head today so it took three attempts to see that you said 'sniggers' rather than the horrendously racist alternative. I couldn't believe my eyes
Oh yeah, I made that mistake too :o.

Sorry, didn't feel like reading 18 pages of nothingness.

Regardless of how many times it's been pointed out, it's still hypocrisy and nepotism.
