Copa del Rey: 2014–15, 2015–16
UEFA Champions League: 2014–15
FIFA Club World Cup: 2015

Lombardo for Palace. The most remarkable part of this story is that he stayed with them for half a season in the Championship before being sold because of financial issues. He then went on to win Serie A and Coppa Italia the following season for Lazio. Crazy stuff.

I don't think I can post Images yet, but Victor Valdes for Manchester United is also one of these types.

Edit: Few who have played both the Gentleman's Game & the Beautiful Game.

Paul Lambert has spent one season outside of Great Britain, either as a player or manager, and he won the Champions League with BvB

AC Milan 2002/03 is like a 2000's Draft final team: Maldini, Nesta, Costacurta, Rivaldo, Seedorf, Rui Costa, Pirlo, Gattuso, Inzhagi, Shevchenko. On their bench were Conte and Marco Di Vaio. Manager: Marcelo Lippi.

...And that's not even close to their best ever team!

So true. But in terms of names, it's hard press to find better year/team.
Something from the 90's, including Baresi, Maldini, Desailly, Boban, Savicivic, Simone, Lentini, Laudrup, Albertini, Tassotti, Panucci, Baggio, Weah....

What kind of football did AC Milan play during 2003-2007? I was too young to follow football intensively then.

If you played professionally and you didnt spent at least one season in Milan your career is a failure.

Rivaldo at Depor
Rivaldo played a great season in Coruña.I used to go quite often to Riazor.Depor was trying to build the magic diamond of Palmeiras: Flavio Conceicao,Djalminha,Rivaldo and Luizao but the last day of the transfer market, without time to react Barcelona paid the release clause,4. 000 m pesetas (25m€).
