Idk how Valencia and Lingard didn't score between them. Nervous that we're going to struggle to break them down and have to deal with Mike Dean compensating for the red all match. Every player looks scared to make a challenge for fear of being booked/sent off.

Poor first half from a United point of view.

Herrera, lingard and carrick each had little to no impact on the game and changes are needed. Martial for Lingard is a no-brainer. Suggest we persevere with Herrera and carrick as we have very little in the way of viable replacements for them.

We got this lads - just need some patience.

Save of the season from Martial/Valencia.

I think we need to bring on Blind and Martial in place of Darmian and Lingard respectively. Martial is our best dribbler and is capable of creating space in tight areas. Blind offers a better attacking threat from LB which should help to draw West Ham out. Mata and Rashford may also be useful.

Wow. Mourinho left the dugout early, and also instructed all the subs to warm up.

I think he might have a word or two with the players at half time. He doesn't look pleased.

This second half is going to be frustrating if we don't score early on. Inexcusable to miss chances like that. And now Dean's been made aware of his blunder. Hate games like these.
It was off side anyway so I have no complaints. We got a little lucky with the red but we don't deserve any more bad decisions.

We need to step up the pace. Arsenal destroyed this lot with fast play

Atrocious. We have no presence in midfield and no width. Comical misses from Valencia and Lingard. Darmian can feck off, looks absolutely pathetic when running or trying to play balls in. Herrera looks overwhelmed.

Martial and/or Rashford needs to come on to give us some presence in the wide areas and tempt West Ham into moving out of the box. Ibra has about 7 men around him and simply can't operate with that kind of congestion.

No positives from that half except that Jones kept working hard and De Gea looks sharp. Will feel fortunate if we get any points from this.

We need a goal against two banks of four and some people are seriously advocating bringing on Fellaini?

Herrera has been awful but if we're to be taking him off then you bring on Mata, not fecking Fellaini.

Carrick has been terrible, too. Speed it up, man.

I would take that but then Surely Martial has the pace to stretch them with 10 men and such a large pitch.
Yes and no. Martial generally likes to be able to pick up the ball and run at players. With so many players behind the ball, he will likely just end up unable to get going most of the time.

Absolute dogshite performance. Despite being gifted a massive advantage.

The likes of Darmian, Herrera, Lingard are just not good enough. Squad players but If you were Mourinho you would definately buy over them in the summer if someone better comes along.

We are still pretty poor mentally and especially in crossing the ball. Darmian and co. just keep cutting back like we are still playing under LVG. Jesse cant cross to save his life. Even Mkhitaryan has been quiet.
    Herrera? Are you serious?

Why do people think playing against 10 men in the first half should be a cakewalk? The lack of a man often doesn't come into play until the team gets tired from doing more with less, and usually it entails a more dedicated and intense defensive game. Little wonder we've not broken them down yet, it's not unusual.

NBC saying never a red card and actually a foul to West Ham. Lee Dixon cried all the way through the match moaning about the red card saying it was maybe a yellow but then Darmain was a definite yellow.

Mike Dean being slaughtered by Niall Quinn and Alan Smith, and rightfully so.

As usual when we're poor it's a lack of intensity. At one point Pogba unnecessarily held it up in the box which ended up with the ball back on our own half 10 seconds later
