They realised very quickly that they made a massive error with De Boer and didn't waste time correcting the error.

If we'd have had the balls to do it with Moyes in 2013, we may not have been so shit over the last 4 seasons.

The only upside is if we sacked him after 4 games, Moyes would feel even more vindicated when whining to the press about being sacked.

But appointing Hodgson is not worth to be applauded.

As for Moyes, well that was poor management and to be fair our club did sack him when they realised he is worthless and we had no chance of finishing in top 4. Atleast the club didn't blindly back him like how arsenal board have backed wenger

believer that Sancho will turn it around
I'm still not sure how de Boer was the wrong choice on the evidence I saw. Two individual errors, unrelated to his managerial acumen, in matches at Liverpool and Burnley cost him points. At Burnley they produced so many quality scoring chances it's incredible they didn't equalize.

He got a raw deal.

I think it was that his style of football seemed particularly unsuited to the players he had at Palace. He was an odd choice to follow Allardyce, especially as it seems the board was not willing to give him a bedding in period from the start.
