Officially the best poker player on RAWK.
Anyone know If switch bought in ire/uk can play games purchased in USA?
I haven't tried it myself, but apparantly they can. For the record my gf bought me Resident Evil for christmas and the cart worked fine, but the download game required a USA profile. Worked though.

On my switch I have seperate account for both Japan and US to buy stuff from their stores if I need to, it's fully allowed and fine.

Have you played Arms? I asked if anyone had on the previous page and the notoriously unfriendly Nintendo fans ignored me. :(

Yeah mate, I have it. Though I have to say I haven't played it a huge amount, it's decent what I have played and good fun 2 player too. I keep meaning to get back into it to properly learn the ropes.

Also, like Splatoon, they've recently added a shit load of free dlc too, and it already had tons of content.

Nice man. I tried to get that £319 bundle from Tesco with Odyssey and Rabbids that Bojan posted but it was out of stock. Havent seen any other good deals since Xmas.

I've played it for 2 hours or so on someone else's Switch.

We played through a Co-op tournament and it was really good fun. It's actually an alright game. Not sure how great it would be in single player though. I couldn't see myself playing it for 20 hours or so on my own. It's a good party/co-op game i think, if you know what i mean.

But it was surprisingly decent.

Yeah I was going to go for that one but I really wanted BOTW and I wasn’t sure if I actually wanted to Rabbids one, at least at the moment anyways.

Yeah, the only deal better than that Tesco one i’ve seen was from a proper dodgy website which I wasn’t prepared to risk. I guess these things are just selling so well at the moment that they don’t see the need to drop the price much.

Just seen Xenoblade for £38. Seems a good price so might jump on it for something to play after Zelda.
I really enjoyed Xenoblade. Not without it's flaws but if you like JRPG's then I'd definitely recommend it. The score is just glorious.

Ah nice, i do like a JRPG but it as been an awfully long time since i played one to be fair. Think i'll probably give it a go though as it'll be a nice change of pace and something totally different to anything else i've played for a while.

Best Nintendo console since the N64, imo.

I just started playing Mario Odyssey. Fantastic game so far! It's a "shame" it had to be released in the same year as BOTW, as it would probably have gotten 'Game Of The Year' under normal circumstances. Either Nintendo don't know how to pace themselves, or we have a lot of good things yet to come.

I’ll need a couple more weeks with Xenoblade first before I can escape it.

You sell the Wii u?
Nobody wants it! Unfortunately realised treating it as a family/party console for the last few years and leaving it with my kid sister at my parents for 6 months was a bad idea.

Hoping I can find someone who wants it at a cut price tho. Im selling some great games with it.

May sell my 2ds but for how much Id get its perhaps worth keeping and giving my daughter in a few years when she starts to game.

Just give her one of your old Xbox. 360 should be fine still in a few years.

Not surprised you struggling to shift it. Everyone wants the switch.

I was quite happy to just trade in to CEX but they wouldnt accept due to the chip. Im sure someone on ebay will take it off my hands.

Hopefully anyway, Switch is bloody expensive on its own - nevermind after the pro controller and full priced games (I cant game share like on PS4/Xbox)
