I'm very happy to be able to say..... Get that right up you, you delusional Bertie twats.

You'll win the title and you won the lottery but you didn't win it against Manchester United and you'll never, ever, come close to being Manchester United.

Taking the next corner instead of Jones!
Still watching SKY post and they showed the moment post-match with Pep and Pogba

Have to agree that looks far a more genuine arm around the shoulder than you'd ever expect Jose to deliver!

He needs to make people feel they're at a home rather than hold some sort of sports dagger over their future … this is not about Jose Mourinho WE ARE MANCHESTER UNITED!

No worries
Also, Pogba's "tackle" on Otamendi followed by his "come at me" expression was majestic too. I love how we were winding up the City players in the 2nd half.

He kept mentioning Pogba when in reality (and as Mourinho said) the problem was in defence. Neville means well but he's very weak in tactics. No wonder why he failed as a manager
Without Carragher, he's failing as a pundit too

Kompany excuse central post match:

"It should have been 5-0 at half time"
"They scored every chance they got"
"(United) had 7 days to prepare and we had a 3 day turnaround"

Classic Gaz. He always needed someone better to carry him around. Carragher as pundit, Giggs, Scholes and Becks with the class of 92 etc.

He doesn't need Carragher to comment about Pogba out of spit. Although Carragher does help.

Captain, leader, gentleman, legend. Martin Tyler was riding him too hard today.

First-half ratings N/A

Second-half

De Gea 9 - the save with his wrong hand in the last minute was probably in his top three saves for United, which considering

Valencia 7
Bailly 6
Smalling 8
Young 7

Herrera 8 - wouldn't have lost any sleep prior to today if we sold him, but immense in the 2nd-half
Pogba 9 - 2nd-half performance of a Captain, perhaps
Matic 7

Lingard 6
Lukaku 7 - nearly there, this time next season...
Alexis 8 - so that's why we paid the big bucks for him

Hopefully this works in Liverpool's favour for Tuesday. It could work against us too.

Against the "top 5" ....

First set of games w2 d1 l2 ... points 7 scored 5 conceded 4
Second set of games w3 d0 l1 ... points 9 scored 7 conceded 6 (one left to play)
Total w5 d1 l3 ... points 16 from 27

Won over 50% of them this year, not too bad. Just the play needs to be fixed up. I'm sure that is the second best record after city between the top 6.

Young, Smalling, Valencia 3 out of 4 defenders.
And he sent tons of criticism their way. "All over the place" "Could drive a truck between Smalling and Bailly" Was harping on them all half.

Don't know if anyone saw this, but during the post match celebrations, Pogba went very close to the away fans and gestured to them not to listen to the bullshit in the papers/media. He made a talking motion with his mouth and then shook his head/hand.

Then he shares a hug with De Gea and repeats "numero uno, numero uno"

Good to see the players are passionate. Anyone slagging off Pogba should watch the video below. Starts at about the 57 second mark.

He kept focusing on them. No wonder the majority of the forum is pissed off.

Do City still have that web channel thing with footage behind the scenes?
I want to see footage of the backroom staff setting up all the champagne and balloons before hastily taking it all down.

Smalling, Pogba, and Sanchez were the most criticized players before HT.

All of them were incredible during the 2nd half.
This ... Also Bailly was missing in action in first half .. Mourinho was also taken apart inn first half and I was one of them who didnt like anyone og those mentioned in first half .. Kudos to them in the second . I still think Mourinho should have had a real go at them from the start.

Really glad we got the result today this would have been unbearable for years ..

Valencia was my Motm didnt give Sane a sniff all game ..

And that save from DDG .. Just sublime ..

Utd were awful in the first half. No awful is too soft, they were a disgrace, front to back, and incredibly lucky to still have a sniff. Why should he pretend otherwise. Not as if he was reacting too well to Tylers barbs about previous City wins.

This idea that he is somehow against Utd is overly sensitive nonsense.

Pep's first defeat to Jose in the PL.
City's first loss at the Ethiad in 16 months.
This is the first time against any team has City lost after a 2-0 lead in 10 years.
Pogba scores after 22 games.
He scores 2 in 98 seconds.
Kompany starts the goal tally and Smalling ends it.

Bravo!
