@Edgar Allan Pillow @Physiocrat appreciate putting a lid in this but he's made four of five posts now that are filled with utter bullshit. I thought this was bizzare and a bit funny at first but it's gone a touch far now.
Its stemming from Theon's name calling in PM which he seems to defend as justified and how he thinks people should behave. If he just apologized for the name calling this would have been over days ago. But it looks like saying "Sorry I could have phrased that better" was too much for someone to say
1. No, the argument stemmed from you losing a draft game and then accusing Gio and I of cheating or "playing dirty tricks" when it was around two thirds of the way through. You're post was baseless and completely uncalled for.
2. The “name calling” was me saying that you were a child in response to those allegations. Firstly I'm not sure how sensitive someone can be to consider that a personal attack - the fact you think that breaches RedCafe Terms and Conditions absolutely blows my mind
. Secondly you should be more self-aware and recognise that when you unfairly accuse people of things you should expect some form of response.
That being said, if calling you a child upset you so much then I apologise. My honest assessment is that your behavior was childish (and I believe it still is now) but it was never my intention to offend you and I regret using that term given how badly you've taken it. There’s maybe a learning point for me there not to assume another persons level of sensitivity.
However given how victimised you've played this I think its worth saying that your initial allegations towards Gio and I were way out of line - I therefore look forward to you also offering an apology.
3. Just to address the game being delayed which seems to be your biggest gripe - let's be absolutely clear that was not to get some sort of advantage (Firstly who on earth thinks like that over something so trivial?! Secondly it makes absolutely no sense given your timezone and the fact I made zero posts the next day). The game was delayed because I had to work late and then my priority was seeing my wife and children who I hadn't see for four days as opposed to rushing around to play Redcafe Drafts.
I've already apologised for the delay to kick off and do so again - though if I'm honest I don't think it's particularly required given I notified you twice that I would only be available after work and then asked if you wanted to move the game if the time was unsuitable. In future I think the mature thing for you to do is just be open from the start and communicate your concerns appropriately.
Drafting order is done as well. We should still wait for the final before starting the next one
