Not sure I’d be wanting Luck making catches & getting hit like that.

They definitely are, and have been let down over and over again this season by shit play calling and shit refereeing.
Yep. They should've beat the Chiefs in the first game and got within 3 of the Rams. If they somehow manage to squeak into the playoffs they could be a massive banana peel for the competition.

The schedule eases up now but I still don't see that happening.

Should’ve lost against the Bolts as well last week though.

Good series by the Denver D. Now just grind it out with Lindsey since the Steelers only have 1 TO.

Crazy how many times teams go 3 and out when they are leading late. I get that you want to take time off the clock but surely a 1st down is worth more than trusting your defence? Just don't understand why everyone bar the Saints/Chiefs/Rams seem to go so conservative.

That’s what you get when you try to force the ball to Brown.

Why are you winning now, Denver? It’s counterproductive at this point...
They have a favorable schedule for the final stretch. Keenum and the offense are finally starting to get it done and the D is still pretty good. Wouldn't surprise me to see them sneak in.

Chargers are a shoe-in for the 5th spot so basically only one spot left. I think, how they're playing right now, the Colts will be the 6th seed.

Baker is starting to come good on the promise of his first start. 17/20 last start I think, 19/26 4 TDs today.

This game will endear him to Browns fans even further.

First year Rodgers has been a bit iffy, and it shows how bad the organisation has been, that its all set up on Rodgers to have near perfect games every week. Shambles.

And a coach who relies on a QB to go no huddle to bail him out time and time again.

He should have gone after the disaster vs Seahawks, but almost 4 years later, and nothing has improved. Packers have at least given me a break from the disaster that is United, but this is almost the same now.

The talent is there. A good head coach and we‘re fine.

I agree. We got some good defensive players too. The offence is filled with two aarons, Adams, Graham. Those are some really good players and you can see it when it comes together.

Its just that the plays are so predictable. The 4th down run, I called what was going to happen so of course the defence could easily.

Don’t forget Bakhtiari, the best LT in the league and a very good center in Linsley.
On D, Clark, Daniels, Martinez and Alexander are a very good core. We should be able to build around all those guys. Just get someone on the sideline who can call a freaking offense.

You have a history of severely overrating your own team. For two years in a row now we're hearing about how good your defence is while that's simply not true. The individual talent might be there but it's an average unit as a whole, simple as.

Jaire Alexander is not even a top 5 DROTY candidate.
Bakhtiari might be top 5 LT but it's debatable and I could name at least a few who are still better than him.

By the way for everyone with a PS4, Madden 19 is available for €35 until tonight/tomorrow, not sure. Just bought it, will be my first one since Madden 15 at which I sucked.

As of the start of last nights game, Bakhtiari was ranked second amongst all LTs bei PFF. Alexander was 11th amongst all qualifying corners. Bakhtiari ended last season, if I remember correctly, as the first ranked LT in the league. He’s been an all pro two years in a row. All this while playing what is maybe the toughest assignment an offensive lineman can have in this league. Bakhtiari has to block for a QB who holds on to the ball a long time and basically never gets help from tight ends or running backs. He’s playing nothing short of exceptional football.
You might be able to make a point for Whitworth, if you want. But that’s it. No one else comes close to his level of play right now.

And I‘m not saying the defense is great, I‘m saying the pieces to become great are there. There’s a difference in those statements. The fact that we’re third in sacks right now, even though our OLB‘s are horrible, is a very promising sign.
