It says alot about the state of referees in the PL when Atkinson still has a job. Did you see that one Sanchez?
He was shocking. Kavacic should have had a second yellow, rojo should have had a straight red, missed the fk on Sanchez, gave chelsea a fk when rlc just lay on the ball. Awful performance, no bias, just awful

Gah just stick a fork in this miserable season. It's only right that it draws to a close with a Liverpool double to make it even worse.

No way near as bad as Pogba was let's put it that way
I sense he was desperately trying to make the difference. But I feel it's gotten to a point where Pogba views the rest of the squad as shit and decided he had to do everything by himself. And to be fair, he's not far wrong.

Massive argument for obliterating nigh on the entire squad.
Not a stretch for some to argue about not going forward with Ole.
More than most looked bereft of ideas at the end

Herrera looked like he was up for it yet we’re fecking about with his contract

    It’s laughable

    1) wolves (turning his back, piss off if you think allison, ederson or guess what...Romero would do that.)

    2)

of course it is. He’s totally out of his depth. And for those saying it’s not De Gea’s fault because he’s saved us many times in the past, you seem to forget he wasn’t doing it for free. So he can piss off to PSG or Juventus, etc. And take the other passionless mercenaries Pogba and Lukaku with him.
Go on my son.....stand your ground

We have been playing with a heavy De Gea handy cap for the past few weeks and today he has no where else to look. Chelsea were not creating anything of note
But when they did create at the end De Gea saved us.

I know. Out of all the players contracts that needed looking at, out of all those up for possible sale....Herrera is the one that personifies what we should be retaining first for Ole's reign.

    Two consecutive posts.
The game was for the taking and he decided to go for a defensive game.

What did the Sanchez sub provided? Nothing, everyone’s grandma knew he would do feck all.

Finishing with more midfielders than attackers shows how much of a management feck .

    Odd choices?

How do you suggest we go for it? Who would you throw on ‘to go for it’
Well I would've had Rashford stay on.Brought on Martial for Mata and have us play 3 at the back with Matic central.Tell Young and Shaw to create the width with a midfield base of Herrera and Pogba with a forward three of Rashford,Lukaku and Martial.
Ole had good options today to 'go for it'.

Sorry, but starting De Gea when it's been obvious to anyone who can see that he's turned into the Spanish version of Karius is just dumb. Ole's obviously not a very good manager.

The goal on the stroke of half time killed us.

Also, we really struggle with our fitness, which has been mentioned before. Alot of players we have cant keep at a high intensity for the duration of the game.

Oh feck this right off. The excuses for Pogba are just too much. He's so good because he was trying to do it all on his own is one is the more creative ones. I'm not sure how dribbling into nowhere or sticking your arse out to shield play and slow down the play really helps, but sure.

A game we had to win and there was no urgency in anything in that second half. Our players are just thick. I literally can't stand any player we have and don't care who gets sold.

Yep, all of this. Just a shame in the second half the team was neutralised and gassed. As others have said, the damage was done months ago.
The second half was ruined with the injuries and no team got going.

Just really unfortunate chain of events for us. The nature of the mistake and timing killed our already frail confidence at a time we were dominating the match and very comfortable. Then the stop start second half came in and we never build ourselves back up. Annoying.

Failure to make the top 4 this year will honestly put Utd back another 3 years. There are players up for grabs this summer. They aren't going to move somewhere without CL football for another season.

Rashford was injured mate! He did his groin in the first half. Lukaku was knackered and was permanently offside.
As for the rest of your tactics, we haven’t got players who can cross for toffee.

The only team ‘going for it’ were Chelsea

The stick your arse out shield move will be trademarked by this prick soon.

I'm doing a G Nev with Keane on Shaw :D

I sensed he was trying. I implied he was greedy though. And I commented multiple times that he needed to keep it simple.

I do though stand by the fact we should be building the team around him next year. But....but, only if the team around him is good enough by Pogba's standards. Otherwise he'll just produce more performances worthy of criticism.

As part of a well oiled unit he can definitely be the game changer. As part of an abhorrent shitshow....he'll simply join them.

And if we do get decent players we have to pay over the odds in wages in turn fecking up the wage structure once more.

Well, yes, agreed, it's just a shame to watch some top players disappear from the options, given other teams are disappearing up ahead.

Ultimately though, individual errors like Fred's against Wolves and De Gea's today have cost recent points, crucially, but the damage was done much earlier in the season.

I hope for a passionate and attacking team next season, built from a solidified backline and greater midfield control.
